About the Role
As an Associate Project Manager, you play a vital role on our Implementation and Client Services team. You will be responsible for facilitating projects, ensuring project initiatives and timelines are met, and providing support to our valued clients throughout their implementation and post-implementation journey. Your focus will be on driving client success and ensuring a seamless experience.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients during the implementation or post-implementation project process.
- Efficiently manage projects, prioritizing clients based on yearly revenue.
- Collaborate with clients to overcome internal and external roadblocks, ensuring a swift and successful implementation.
- Devise strategies to realign clients with projected implementation timelines when deviations occur.
- Orient new partner institutions to the implementation process by engaging with key internal and external stakeholders
- Lead all “Planning & Set up” tasks, including initial setup, best practice communication, technical concept explanation .to stakeholders, and establishing a launch date for user engagement.
- Create necessary internal and external documentation.
- Develop and execute project plans outlining key goals, deliverables, due dates, and more.
- Coordinate and track project tasks with assigned Watermark resources to ensure timely project completion.
- Facilitate internal and external presentations, including onsite visits, internal trainings, and conferences.
- Ensure a smooth hand-off to Client Success Managers upon project completion.
- Develop foundational knowledge of up to three products within Watermark’s suite of assessment solutions.
- Gain familiarity with regional and professional accrediting agencies in higher education.
- Acquire knowledge of quality assessment practices to assist partner institutions in maximizing the benefits of our software system.
- Occasional travel for work-related events (up to 5%).
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in training and development or classroom instruction.
- Experience working with educational software or other web-based applications.
- Proficiency in using Google Suite and basic software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Zoom).
- Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity and experience in higher education accreditation and assessment-related activities.
- Possession of, or in the process of obtaining, a PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification.
- Experience in data collection and data analysis.
