About the Role:

Remotely based and reporting into the Vice President of Supply Chain, the Director of Quality will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive Quality Assurance & Control systems and programs to ensure the organization’s finished products meet the quality, integrity, and efficacy standards set by the organization.

You Will:

  • The Director of Quality will identify a Corporate Quality Management System (QMS) software and execute a plan for implementation
  • Develop & implement a supplier/vendor qualification program
  • Utilize the Quality GAP analysis to develop and implement short & long-term Quality goals & objectives
  • Ensure proactive compliance to all applicable internal, domestic, and international quality regulations
  • Manage & maintenance of all areas related to quality including, meeting the business needs, implementing best practices, standards, and continuous improvement
  • Lead, coach and develop direct reports
  • Develop & negotiate Quality Agreements with new and existing suppliers
  • Provide oversight for audits and visits to ensure 3rd party manufacturers meet regulatory requirements
  • Manage relationships with 3rd party Quality vendors
  • Identifies business Quality risks and proposes contingency plans
  • Leads quality group to collaboratively address compliance concerns and/or needs

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field required; Master’s degree is preferred
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and/or supplement manufacturers required
  • Must have experience with implementing new Quality Assurance and/or Control systems & processes in a high growth environment
  • Willingness and ability to quickly come up to speed on quality requirements & regulations in new fields
  • Comfortable working in a fluid environment, managing fluctuating priorities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and drive internal & external decisions
  • Familiarity with FDA certifications and other QA regulations
  • Up to 25% travel

Reporting to the Senior Director of Integrated Business Planning, the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Network Strategy & Optimization will be responsible for developing and driving network strategy to grow and maximize fulfillment results to our customer while optimizing working capital. The ideal candidate for this role is collaborative, results-oriented and a creative problem solver with a deep understanding of supply chain principles and a passion for diving deep into the data to running various what if scenarios to drive peak efficiency. In this role you will partner with suppliers, co-manufacturers, & internal stakeholders to streamline and optimize various parts of the supply chain to ensure the right items are in the right place at the right time for the right cost.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in the Integrated Business Planning process to understand the key factors that will influence the supply plan (demand forecast, capacity constraints, raw material availability)
  • Own the development and implementation of supply chain network design strategies that align with key business objectives and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Utilize advanced data analysis and data modeling techniques to design and evaluate various supply chain scenarios, considering all factors such as transportation cost, inventory level, lead times and customer demand.
  • Gather and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to drive insightful and actionable supply chain results
  • Direct the co-manufacturing production schedule to maximize fill rates while limiting inventory obsolescence for highly perishable products
  • Manage the full scope of day-to-day planning & replenishment of packaging components across the supply chain
  • Actively partner with suppliers & co-manufacturers to strengthen & sustain relationships, maintain open communication, & ensure prompt resolution of issues
  • Own the Center of Excellence for network optimization and implement best practices across the organization
  • Leverage data and insights to actively initiate and drive supply chain network optimization projects with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Engage in cross-functional project teams for upcoming packaging changes & new product launches
  • Develop, manage, and communicate supply chain KPIs with recommended actions to address challenges

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Leveling for this role will be as follows:
    • Senior Manager, Supply Chain Network Strategy & Optimization Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Engineering or a related field, Master’s Degree preferred. 7+ years of experience in CPG supply chain, network design, data science or consulting; preferably in food & beverage manufacturing or agriculture, 5+ years’ experience supporting and leading a team
    • Manager, Supply Chain Network Strategy & Optimization Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or a related field, 5+ years of experience in CPG supply chain, network design, data science, or consulting; preferably in food & beverage manufacturing or agriculture, 3 years experience supporting and leading a team
  • Certification such as CSCP or CPIM is a plus
  • Dairy, Poultry, and live production industry experience preferred
  • Expert-level Excel skills required, experience in Anaplan and PowerBi a plus
  • Proven experience in driving process improvement initiatives and strategic thinking
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail & accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to work cross-functionally across the organization

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and drive adoption of Netflixs 3rd party enterprise software catalog
  • Drive cross-collaboration with partner teams within IT, Infosec, Engineering, and Finance to ensure solutions are viable and scalable within our ecosystem
  • Administer software license agreements, including tracking license usage, managing renewals, and coordinating audits and compliance reviews

Qualifications

The Digital Media Specialist is responsible for assisting with the Animal Legal Defense Funds digital initiatives through our websites, email blasts, online action centers and other communications as needed. As a member of the Communications department, the Digital Media Specialist serves an important supporting role to ensure the organizations ability to pursue its mission with speed and flexibility.

How You Will Make a Difference:

The Digital Media Specialist bears primary responsibility for maintaining content on aldf.org, aldlf.org, and other subsitesand building emails blasts, online action centers, and online forms as necessary.

Website (35%):

  • Post diverse legal and advocacy driven content on multiple websites, utilizing multiple templates and complex taxonomy.
  • Build and send mass emails, including shepherding emails through a review process for quality assurance.
  • Update case and legislative webpages status on a rolling basis, with information supplied by programs departments.
  • Perform daily maintenance, monitoring, and quality assurance of the site.
  • Serve as a final check before publishing and coordinate edits as needed.
  • Analyze website traffic, email (open/click rates), and action center performance.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and technological developments related to our website.
  • Select, crop, and size photos for the website, following organizational photography standards.
  • Maintains and organizes image and video assets in our digital media library.

Digital Advocacy Platforms (55%):

  • Creates and executes online communications (including mass emails, multiple online action center platforms, and online forms) to assure that all online communications are optimized for conversions, on brand, user friendly, and using best practices for their respective formats.
  • Executes campaigns via online platforms that enable mass email, SMS communication, click to call, and social sharing.
  • Incorporates data analysis and testing to optimize performance of digital outreach.
  • Perform database syncing, update, and analysis as necessary.
  • Utilizes reporting systems to track the results of online communications efforts for the department.
  • Manage online database of supporters, related to segmentation, testing, and reporting.

Requirements

We are Looking For Candidates With:

Technical:

  • Experience with WordPress required.
  • Experience with Digital Advocacy platforms like EveryAction, Engaging Networks, Phone2Action, Salsa, Convio/Blackbaud, or MailChimp preferred.
  • Proficiency in HTML is required.
  • Experience with CSS and JavaScript preferred.
