About the role
In this role, you will lead the strategy and execution of our B2C web marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for driving the vision and strategy for optimizing and personalizing web and app customer experiences via conversion rate optimization (CRO), Next-best action (NBA) strategy, user journey optimization, web & app ecosystem expansion and UX/UI design improvements. The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver, possesses strong leadership skills, and has a deep understanding of web marketing methodologies. Additionally, we are looking for a gifted storyteller who is able to build a compelling narrative to communicate and gain support of their strategic vision with leadership. You can operate in an ambiguous, fast-growing environment with competing priorities. Successful candidates are able to work with partners across Product, Engineering, Design and Analytics to ensure strategic alingment and prioritization of work needed to unlock web marketing execution.
In this position you will:
- Develop and implement the strategic vision for the web team that will drive exponential YoY business growth and improve the customer experience
- Manage a team of web marketers to optimize landing pages, activate onsite merchandising, and expand the web marketing footprint into app surfaces for improved performance and customer engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, design, and analytics, to ensure alignment and support for the web marketing roadmap
- Translate business needs into clear requirements for technical and execution teams, ensuring efficient implementation of solutions.
- Collaborate with the data science team to provide web analytics data, create insightful dashboards, and communicate performance insights and recommendations to the team and partners.
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. Remote employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.
In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $134,800.00 – $215,300.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
Who you are
- 8+ years of experience in web and app marketing including proficiency in landing page optimization, content strategy, UX, SEO, and onsite merchandising
- Experience in not only building and implementing end-to-end web and app strategies, but also the ability to gain stakeholder alignment through compelling storytelling and data driven insights.
- Extensive experience in leading teams, with a proven track record of growing and developing individuals to achieve high-performance results.
- Expertise in A/B testing and multivariate testing, including roadmap definition, hypothesis building, test methodology, and result interpretation.
- Extensive experience leveraging marketing tools to create, optimize, and personalize web user experiences such as Optimizely, Contentsquare, and SimonData. Familiarity with WordPress, SEO best practices, HTML and CSS preferred
- Strong analytical skills; expert in interpreting digital funnel metrics to generate actionable insights. Proficient in web analytics, contextualizing data to understand customer behavior. Familiarity with analytics tools Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mode and Tableau preferred
