JOB OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for developing and overseeing the overall strategy to plan, execute, manage, and optimize content marketing programs that drive revenue growth, new customer acquisition, and first- and third-party audience expansion. This position will oversee the content strategy and planning for the Merchandise, Equipment and Practice Services categories in the US and Canada for Henry Schein Dental and Medical. The Manager, Content Marketing will partner closely with internal and external team members including growth marketing, acquisition marketing, product category managers, the strategic business group, suppliers and agencies to build a high-impact content program that drives organic search traffic, ecommerce transactions and lead generation. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, team-oriented and possess strong strategic and analytical capabilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and oversee the strategy, development, production and distribution of marketing content in a variety of formats, such as webinars, ebooks, videos, articles and SEO pages. Ensure all content is search engine- and revenue-optimized. Manage all projects to a budget and timeline.
- Develop and implement overall strategy to appropriately leverage our speakers, key opinion leaders, internal talent and social influencers for content development and promotion, including mapping each talent to a suitable format/s and distribution channel/s over the course of a 12-month contract period.
- Define and implement strategic roadmap for on-site SEO in partnership with the growth marketing team.
- Ensure all content is optimized appropriately to each channel and build processes to ensure continued optimization.
- Collaborate with the acquisition marketing team on use of key digital channels to promote content to the right prospects and customers at the right time, including developing nurture campaigns for marketing qualified leads.
- Continuously evaluates and optimizes the performance of Henry Schein content, including analysis, reporting, and providing insight and best practices to the marketing team. Identifies and oversees the implementation of optimization strategies with a strong test-and-learn mindset.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

About Stripe Research and the role
The Stripe Research team is part of Stripes Design team and works across many types of brand and product initiatives at Stripe to more effectively and efficiently deliver products and experiences that fulfill user needs. And since Stripes main audience is other people who build products, we agonize over and take pride in crafting user-friendly and user-focused experiences.
In addition to conducting primary research, we also enable other Stripes (marketers, sales, engineers, product managers, designers, operations, etc.) to learn and apply research skills to global problems. You will play a role in shaping how we build research as a core competency across Stripe and define how we put users first when conducting research.
As a Market Researcher, you will apply your qualitative and quantitative research skills to build research programs that will inform decisions around customers, products and markets. You will collaborate directly with the Marketing team to translate insights into actions that will drive business impact.
What you’ll do
- Be an authority on and owner of market research methods and metrics, including brand tracking, campaign awareness, and audience insights
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research that deepens our understanding of our users, drives company strategy, and informs internal decision making, messaging, and positioning
- Build close partnerships with Marketing and GTM leaders to build the infrastructure for ongoing market research programs
- Work in a highly collaborative fashion as a strategic partner to Campaign Marketing, Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, and designers to define both the long-term strategy and the short-term tactics for Stripe campaigns
- Prioritize research needs and approaches across multiple work streams to work on the right project, scale, and scope at the right time and ensure impact by delivering actionable insights
- Partner closely with other researchers to build out Stripes market research practice
- Source and manage research vendors to help augment the work of the research team.
- Disseminate research insights to evolve and enhance Stripes understanding of user needs and identify innovative opportunities to meet those needs
Minimum Requirements
- Have 3+ years relevant market research experience working with qualitative and quantitative methods, having conducted and supervised many different types of projects from start to finish (from quick-turnaround to comprehensive global initiatives)
- Can conduct research at scale and demonstrate the use of a variety of research methods, which may include qualitative interviews, surveys, customer journeys, data analysis, or ideation sessions.
- You are a mixed-methods researcher and can demonstrate a fluency across qualitative and quantitative research methods
Preferred qualifications
- Have worked on developer-focused, B2B or enterprise products
- Can lead, design, execute, and communicate impactful research in a fast-paced environment and know how to integrate research into marketing, sales, and go-to-market strategies, including product roadmaps
