Job Description
The Payroll Processing Manager will be responsible for managing the payroll preparation/processing for a large US multi-company centralized payroll department. This position will have the primary responsibility of managing multi-frequency payrolls for approximately 18,000 employees. This person will critically review and analyze current payroll procedures in order to recommend and implement changes leading to best-practice operations. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and requirements. This person will work closely with Human Resources, Benefits, IT, and Compensation teams.
Responsibilities
- Ensure payroll is paid accurately, and timely and that all required reporting is delivered.
- Ensure that daily quality and control measures are followed and end-to-end processes are met according to policy and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the payroll processing team and their duties and responsibilities.
- Coach team members and provide feedback to strengthen and/or improve performance dimensions.
- Ensure payroll processing and related payroll activities comply with internal and external audit requirements.
- Provide customer support to HR, managers, and employees to resolve payroll-related issues.

Qualifications
