Primary Responsibilities
- Interpreting radiology examinations according to standard medical practice, GCP guidelines, protocol and charter definition and according to standard Bioclinica SOPs
- Participating in training sessions for the respective protocols
- Participate in training and on-boarding new readers.
- Works across all imaging TAs as needed depending on skills required
- Assists with Image Quality Assessment/Image QC as needed
- Participating in Quality Assurance as needed
- Reviewing protocols, charters and associated clinical and technical study documents as required
- Works with the development team to test the read applications
- Reviews the BRS to identify any inconsistencies from the imaging charter from the charter
- Participating in Inter-Reader and Inter-Reader variability assessments when required
- Participates in client meetings, bid defenses and sales and trade shows to increase sales and promote the global medical and scientific expertise of Bioclinica
- Work with the business development teams to support sales.
- National and international business travel when needed
- Participate in publications, WebEx meetings and other events to profile Bioclinica.
- Maintaining security of images, data and equipment.
- Participating in training and subsequently demonstrates competency in the operation of radiology research equipment
- Ensuring confidentiality of study protocols and subjects is maintained
- Participating in sponsor site visits and audits as requested
- Collaborating with management to resolve technical/radiological/study concerns and problems.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Medical degree is required
- Advanced degree a plus
- Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology or equivalent training demonstrating competency
Experience:
- 5+ years experience working with clinical trials and/or within pharmaceutical environment required
- Experience with multi-modality imaging projects required
- Experience with medical imaging software a plus
- Experience working with computer software including Word, Excel, Access and Project preferred

Avalara today has many freelance and vendor relationships with excellent PowerPoint design capabilities. These resources are located primarily on the West Coast of the United States. We are looking to build a PowerPoint center of excellence internally at Avalara. We expect this to be focused with a Sr. Manager of PowerPoint Design based on the east coast of the United States. This person will have oversight over our Freelance/vendor relationships primarily on the west coast of the U.S., as well as responsibility for building out a PowerPoint center of excellence in Pune, India.
We are looking for a person who has outstanding technical proficiency in PowerPoint and understands how it operates (both good and bad) in both Mac and PC environments. They should be a highly adept visual storyteller, able to synthesize complex concepts and express those ideas in the simplest visual form. They should not be adept just technically, but at understanding what is trying to be communicated and have the design acumen to visualize the information in a simple, compelling, brand-first way. This person should have excellent leadership skills and be able to mentor designers in PPT best practices, as well as our Avalara presentation design templates and norms. They should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- This person will own the Avalara Corporate Compendium or slide library and understand who to work with to keep all information up to date. They willadd, maintain, and remove slides as the business demands
- They will maintain consistency and accuracy of our Why Avalara deck modifying as needs change
- They will own our corporate template and keep it constantly updated
- Set up an SLA for a quick-turn PPT deck consultancy where presenters at Avalara can send a deck to our PowerPoint Production team to ensure that current template is being followed and only proper Slide Master is in place in the deck. (This is a significant consistency problem today)
- Understand the nuances of design differences from decks coming from different Avalara stakeholders
- Drive quality and consistency of all PowerPoint decks that are used throughout the company
- Take direction from multiple stakeholders and be able to determine the level of support needed, and best resources to reach the goals of the presenter and company
- Find the best path given differing types of presentation needs and difficult/short timelines. (Types of presentations will vary from McKinsey consultant type decks, to more storytelling image and sparse text approaches)
- Develop and have a strong understanding for Avalaras go-to-market story, our products, and how to tell that story with slides that meet business objectives
- This person should both a doer and a leader who leads by example with a positive outlook and can-do nature
- Develop a service that surprises and delights Avalara internal customers in terms of both design quality and turnaround time
- Understand Avalara products, marketing initiatives, and strategic positioning
- Manage and delegate responsibilities to other PowerPoint production designers providing clear creative direction and manage quality output

About the Role
