What You’ll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in program management or similar roles
  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field

  • Solid understanding of the SDLC and PDLC, with a proven track record of applying technical knowledge to achieve and improve business outcomes

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead brand strategic development efforts.
  • Evolve and then activate a compelling and differentiated Brand Strategy designed to help drive increased Brand Awareness, Consideration and Preference.
  • Craft a marketing strategy based on data and deep consumer insights, and then translate that strategy into an actionable and achievable operating plan that includes clear objectives and measurable targets.
  • Manage a balanced macro channel marketing strategy and work with the team to scale channel-specific strategies and operating plans.
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team.
  • Ensure rigorous control over all marketing-related data, analysis, and metrics.

Your Experience:

  • 12+ years of business experience, with at least 10 years of relevant marketing experience.

  • Significant brand marketing experience: Influencers, Emails, PR, Partnerships, Podcasts, TV, Flyers, Magazines and so on.
  • Comfortable managing a team that oversees traditional performance marketing channels like Meta, YouTube, Google SEM, Google SEO.
  • Strong influencer and relationship builder with internal and external influencers.
  • Experience operating in the Home Decor segment (or a passion for Home Decor) is a strong plus.
  • Experience managing a team of 7+ marketers.
  • Data-driven, with experience operating with an agile, test/learn/iterate operating mindset.
  • Ability to forecast demand and make financial projections. Plan the strategy as far as 1 year in advance.

Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, review, edit, and produce final media products via PowerPoint, Word, or any other applicable application to ensure consistent and correct outward messaging is communicated for AFRL/RS.

  • Archive all necessary public/media documents to AFRL SharePoint or designated online knowledge management application.

  • Support the design and procurement of marketing, branding, and recruitment presentations and materials to include event items promoting the Air Force Research Laboratory. Adhere to established branding guidelines published in AFRL brand book when preparing all marketing materials.
  • Provide artwork, custom signs, headers, posters, and display-related products to include: camera-ready text, single page, tri-fold, and multi-page brochures, photographs, photographic manipulation, original artwork, black and white, and multicolored illustrations, and two and three-dimensional perspective illustrations.
