Search Engine Marketing Manager

About the Role

We are currently recruiting a Search Engine Marketing Manager to join our growing team partnering with best-in-class active lifestyle, spirits and tourism brands.

The SEM Manager will be responsible for the strategy, execution and optimization of paid media marketing strategies on behalf of rygr’s clients. They will partner with rygr’s media and digital operations teams to develop innovative paid search strategies and lead the planning, execution and optimization of these programs.

The position requires the ability to apply detailed knowledge and expertise to actionable insights and recommendations. The successful candidate will have experience managing mid-to-large accounts, either for an agency or in-house, as well as the skills and enthusiasm necessary to be a part of an amazing team.

Responsibilities

  • Establish strategy and implement, optimize, and manage budgets for paid search, shopping, display, and YouTube campaigns for direct response retail and tourism
  • Develop advanced keyword campaigns and efficient direct response programs for any given client initiative
  • Deliver integrated paid search media campaigns with an appreciation for other online and offline channels
  • Ensure all paid search campaign billings are up to date and all finance queries are followed up in a timely manner
  • Analyze paid search campaign performance against client KPI’s and report on trends and insights to key stakeholders
  • Support in any new business pitches and related work as required
  • Train/educate other rygr media planners and coordinators and strategies, techniques and trends in paid search

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience creating schematic symbols and footprints per engineering requirements. The candidate must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to problem solve independently.

What You Will Do:

  • The primary role of this position is to create, in electronic CAD systems, accurate component models per company standards and practices.
  • Responsible for the creation of CAD symbols and models for printed circuit card and schematic design and for loading appropriate attribute data into several enterprise systems
  • Must be able to understand and interpret component drawings and specifications to produce accurate symbols and models including electrical schematic symbols and printed circuit board layout component models and land patterns
  • The individual must be able to self-check work to meet part requirements and guidelines.
  • This position requires a high degree or mechanical aptitude, a working knowledge of electronic functions and solid math and geometry skills.
  • The individual shall work to ensure the CAD symbol/models meet all customer requirements to ensure the fabrication, assembly and test of the circuit card assembly is accurate.

The Staff Security Engineer, Detection and Response you will be responsible for the detection strategy, creation, tuning, validation, and correlation to ensure that we have effective detections in place against an ever-changing threat landscape. This role is hands-on, carrying the responsibility of running the day-to-day security operations tasks including management of SIEM, detection engineering platform and helping incident response.

Reporting into the Director of Security Engineering, the ideal candidate will maintain and enhance a consistent and reliable operational security environment and take a proactive security monitoring approach.This role has high visibility and requires a technical individual who can partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, SRE, IT, Legal, etc) and has the ability to adapt in a dynamic security landscape.
What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for building and expanding detection capabilities across a variety of platforms
  • Responsible for security event monitoring, management and response, workflows and tasks
  • Improve security monitoring and operational tasks by developing measurement capabilities and metrics to track and communicate performance, coverage and risk
  • Evaluate existing SIEM rules, filters, events and use cases and adapt them to meet the business requirements
  • Mature security operations; drive integration of new log sources, tools and services
  • Create, maintain and manage a library of automated playbooks to address new threats and tactics employed by attacker
  • Ensure compliance to SLA, process adherence and process improvisation to achieve operational objectives

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 7 years of consistent detection & response experience performing triage/incident response in enterprise SaaS environments
  • Expert knowledge of the cyber threat landscape – able to articulate and incorporate into program understanding of major threat categories, motivations, and intent of adversaries against enterprise assets
  • Experience in at least one programming language, Python, Go, C, C++. Alternatively deep expertise using low-code automation tools or SOAR platforms is a plus.
  • Experienced in driving monitoring and automation in cloud environments, preferably knowledge of AWS.
  • Strong understanding of advanced persistent threats, attacker methodologies, attack lifecycle, cyber kill chain, and the MITRE framework.
  • Understanding of digital forensics techniques and closely related areas.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills and communication skills, with the ability to engage with partners and stakeholders with a variety of perspectives and technical understanding
  • GIAC security certification such as GCIA, GCIH, GREM, GPEN (or equivalent), multiple preferred
