Generac Power Systems seeks an Analytics Engineer I to be based in Portland, ME or Remote. This role will be a part of the Field Data Analytics Team, which provides essential oversight of all internet connected and field installed Generac Clean Energy products. This team builds tools to act as an early warning to product related issues and oversees the field monitoring of new product introductions. They scrutinize data collected from all PV related equipment and analyze ‘big data’ to ensure products are working as expected. The successful candidate will effectively understand system performance, identify early signs of product issues, and communicate these back to multiple business groups.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Spearhead and automate field monitoring efforts by accessing and processing system- and device-level data from platform databases, presenting it in a meaningful way
  • Identify and report on trends in field performance and device capability/reliability, capturing larger fleet behaviors related to health and performance
  • Work closely with Technical Support and Application Engineering teams to rapidly identify and resolve customer issues, providing data in an actionable way
  • Feedback field issues and design change proposals to firmware and hardware design teams using data to provide business cases
  • Establish and manage beta site monitoring and data collection programs for new products, design revisions, and high visibility projects, normalizing processes and creating documentation of actions
  • Interface with software team to develop tools and processes to efficiently extract and present site data
     

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • BS in Computer Science, Math/Statistics, Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with analysis of big data
  • Familiarity with query databases (ex: SQL, Apache Hive, or Apache Phoenix)
  • Experience using one or more statistical analysis tools (ex: MatLab, MiniTab, SPSS, or R)
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis languages (ex: R, Python, SAS, or Stata)
  • Strong data visualization/presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Understanding or history of working with power electronics/IoT devices
  • Familiarity with Renewable Energy/Solar/Energy market
  • Experience with Superset, Tableau, PowerBI or equivalent visualization tools
  • Knowledge of Agile/Sprint Methodologies and best practices for software development

The RealPage Finance & Commercial Transformation (FaCT) team is looking for a Sr. Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work with cross functional business stakeholders and leaders for a large multi-year initiative in support of an Opportunity to Cash Program that involves the execution of multiple projects in partnership with consulting and technology partners.

As a Sr. Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing transformation projects, from the business side focusing on strategic and business outcomes to ensure the work is properly defined and scoped.  You will be responsible for delivering quality outcomes within budget, timeline and scope, while meeting expectations of stakeholder management and business objectives. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop and manage project plans outlining tasks, timelines, deliverables, milestones and resource requirements.  Tight management and control of projects utilizing Microsoft Azure DevOps and coordination of resources to maintain data integrity of the DevOps environment
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal sponsors and stakeholders to efficiently and effectively complete work items in support of the Opportunity to Cash program workstreams.  Bringing transparency to challenges or constraints that may impact the quality or timeline of the program
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with assigned projects and develop mitigation strategies.  Proactively monitor and manage risks to address issues that may impact timelines, outcomes or quality
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross functional teams inclusive of multiple consulting partners, fostering a collaborative and results oriented environment.  Identify and mitigate challenges in team dynamics impacting performance, escalate as appropriate to applicable leaders.
  • Reporting : Prepare and present regular status updates to program team, sponsors and executives.  Monitor and present program performance KPIs, utilizing the Microsoft Azure Ado dashboard and complimentary BI Dashboards.
  • PMO Capability Adoption: Adopt FaCT PMO standard methodologies and processes in alignment with Agile and Waterfall practices.  Collaborate with stakeholders on adoption and application of the PMO standards across assigned programs and projects.
  • Governance: Manage governance processes throughout the lifecycle of the program. Facilitate communication and collaboration amongst stakeholders, FaCT team and partners, as needed, to ensure accurate and realistic information is shared across stakeholders, facilitating a positive team culture and effective decision making

Required:

  • 7+ years of relevant program and project management experience in a matrixed organization
  • Background/experience in Opportunity to Cash or Lead to Opportunity business process, sales and/or commercial operations at a SaaS
  • Significant experience managing transformation projects with multiple consultants and internal company resources
  • Experience working in and with agile project teams, multiple teams from different companies and blending multiple project management disciplines and tools together for best fit approach.
  • Possesses ability to multi-task and move quickly between projects and stages with projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
