The Asset Growth & Management Product Group is responsible for helping our clients maintain and build their wealth with cryptocurrency. From staking and asset listings to custody solutions, we ensure that our clients have access to a diverse range of tools to help our users grow and manage their assets effectively.
We are seeking a Sr. Operations Associate, Asset Listings to join us at Kraken.
The ideal candidate has professional experience working within financial institutions and experience with on-chain crypto products, such as staking, and infrastructure within exchanges. The candidate has a strong understanding of custody solutions (including wallet management), audit procedures, strong written and verbal communication, is adept with data analysis (SQL knowledge preferred), technical knowledge, and has a proven track record of problem solving. The position requires interaction with different internal stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
The opportunity
- Contribute to the development of standardized policies, procedures, checklists, and audit inquiries across organizational functions
- Be a source of operational expertise for internal stakeholders on custody, asset listings, and data reconciliation practices
- Collaborate in the development of the firm’s internal Custody Management solution
- Engage cross-functionally with Engineering, Legal, Finance, Operations and Product stakeholders to develop and steer product operations strategy and roadmaps
- Define and anticipate the needs of different stakeholders and translate them into Engineering action items
- Compose BRDs and collaborate on PRDs, quarterly business reviews, flow of funds diagrams, track projects, and document internal systems
- Juggle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively with direction
- Become the single source of truth and “Go-to” person for information on project statuses
- Track the status of various projects and monitor roadblocks, whilst continuously being one step ahead to identify potential risks

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with a strong machine learning background to lead the development of frameworks that deepen understanding of engagement at Twitch. Bringing to bear a mixture of model development and software engineering skills, you will lead the development and deployment and of several of Twitch’s core growth forecasting models, use data-driven methods to answer business questions, and deliver insights to deepen understanding of viewers and creators on Twitch. Reporting to the Head of Finance, Analytics, and Business Operations, your team will be located in San Francisco. While there is a preference for the San Francisco Bay Area, we are open to this role operating remotely within the U.S.
You Will:
– Own and develop the central machine learning models that forecast user growth at Twitch.
– Lead the model development process to implement production algorithms, including exploratory data analysis, data modeling, feature engineering, model training, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
– Deep dive into mission-critical problems unique to Twitch and design custom algorithmic solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

As a Data Visualization Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming complex financial data into clear, actionable insights. Your expertise in data visualization, engineering, and analytics will drive decision-making across the organization. Here are the key responsibilities:
- Visualize Insights: You’ll create compelling visualizations using tools like Power BI, Power Platform, Power Automate, and Office 365. These visualizations will empower stakeholders to understand financial trends, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions.
- End-to-End Management: From concept to implementation, you’ll oversee the entire lifecycle of visualizations. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, refining user interfaces, and ensuring data accuracy.
- Standardization and Best Practices: You’ll contribute to standardizing data definitions, processes, and user interfaces. Your goal is to enhance consistency and usability across the organization.

Qualifications:
