We’re currently hiring for a Multicultural Communications Specialist-American Indian/Alaska Native who will support communications efforts focused on engaging Tribal nations, particularly indigenous communities in Alaska. Authentic engagement with Alaska villages and their communities is required. Our work includes several public sectors, including health, transportation, environment, energy, disaster management, and education. We are looking for a professional to manage new and existing tasks for public sector clients with an authentic lens toward Alaska Natives and indigenous communities across the state. Work may include supporting development of communications plans and materials, community engagement, creative campaign development support, earned and social media, and partnership engagement. This professional also will collaborate with local and remote communications teams who work on these projects.

Job Location(s): Candidates based in Alaska are preferred; however, this individual may work remotely.

  • Have an understanding of multicultural communications, importance of addressing health disparities and strategies for communicating with vulnerable populations through social marketing.

  • Support project teams to support development, execution and evaluation of communication programs and products.

As a Multicultural Communications Specialist-American Indian/Alaska Native, you will have:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising or related majors.
  • 4+ years of directly applicable experience, preferably in a communications or PR agency setting, or 2 years plus advanced degree.

Preferred Qualifications and Professional Skills:

  • Experience in supporting strategy development and executing American Indian and Alaska Native health-related, behavior change and/or community engagement campaigns.
  • Interest in working with federal health agencies, such as the Environmental Protection Agency, Federal Emergency Management Association, Department of Homeland Security, Office of Minority Health, National Institutes of Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, among others.
  • Knowledge of and experience with media consumed by American Indian and Alaska Native tribes and nations.

About the Position

Dexis is seeking graphic design surge support to support our work with USAID, DOL, DOD, DOS, DFC, at our Home Office and beyond! The Graphic Designer will provide comprehensive design support to proposals and projects, working with proposal and project teams on proposal, report, and other graphics. They will collaborate with teams to develop unique fonts, color schemes, shapes and other design elements that continue and align with Dexis’ brand. The Graphic Designer(s) may also need to draft sketches from team input or suggestions, develop and propose graphic designs to enhance and translate proposed approaches, methods, and processes, or translate/transfer sketches of ideas on paper from proposal team to a digital format. To be successful in this position, candidates must be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and show amazing attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials, including design requests and/or Client solicitations and determine requirements.
  • Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
  • Follow Dexis and Client banding guidelines, policies, and regulations.

Therabody is seeking a Visual Merchandising Manager to create cohesive, engaging, and inspiring consumer

experiences across both physical and digital retail environments. The role will spearhead the implementation

of in-store display programs and digital merchandising strategies, ensuring a seamless and consistent

Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the end-to-end project management of in-store visual merchandising initiative, from concept design through to final execution, ensuring timely delivery within budgetary parameters
    • Develop comprehensive program briefs and manage the bid process, including requirement collation, tendering, reviewing and closing out
    • Brief approved partners to create 3D renderings and technical drawings for new space opportunities and product launches
    • Oversee the design development process to ensure in-store merchandising solutions serve and align with the target consumer needs
    • Coordinate with local suppliers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and specifications, ensuring the highest possible quality production. Conduct post-installation visits to verify quality and compliance
    • Lead internal design team briefings and work closely with the designers to deliver conversion-optimized print assets for displays

This role is a high visibility technology leadership position requiring an extensive background and operational experience with Appian platform advisory, adoption, migration patterns, architectural engagements, products, services and frameworks, industry standards along with implementations to be applied in a multitude of complex scenarios. Position includes architectural artifact and transitional roadmap development, system and platform topology design, prototyping, with team mentoring in a dynamic client and business partner facing atmosphere.

The Work:
