What you will do:

The Coding Specialist II analyzes physician/provider documentation contained in health records (electronic, paper or hybrid) to determine the principal diagnosis, secondary diagnoses, principal procedure and secondary procedures.

Utilizes encoder software applications, which includes all applicable online tools and references in the assignment of Internal Classification of Diseases, Clinical Modification diagnosis and procedure codes, and Current Procedural Terminology / Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) procedure codes and all required modifiers

What you will need:

Two years of current E&M Coding Experience

Completion of an AHIMA-approved coding program or an AAPC-approved coding program, or

Associate’s degree in Health Information Management or a related field or an equivalent combination of years of education and experience is required.

Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Procedural Coder (CPC), Registered Health Information

Technologist (RHIT), or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) is required.

Current experience utilizing encoding/grouping software is preferred. Ability to utilize both manual and automated versions of the ICD and CPT coding classification systems is preferred.

Ability to use a standard desktop and windows based computer system, including a basic understanding of e-mail, internet, and computer navigation. Ability to use other software as required to perform the essential functions on the job. Familiarity with distance learning or using web-based training tools desirable.

Well-developed written and oral communication skills that may be used either on-site or in virtual working environments. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups representing diverse perspectives.

Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment.

Ability to research, analyze and assimilate information from various on-site or virtual sources based on technical and experience-based knowledge. Must exhibit critical thinking skills and possess the ability to prioritize workload.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Assist the CISO in developing and implementing the overall information security strategy.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the information security team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate security measures into business processes and initiatives.

Program Management:

  • Provide regular reporting on the status of the information security program to enterprise risk teams, senior business leaders and the board of directors as part of a strategic enterprise risk management program, thus supporting business outcomes.
  • Develop, socialize, and coordinate approval and implementation of security policies.
  • Liaise with the enterprise architecture team to build alignment between the security and enterprise (reference) architectures, thus ensuring that information security requirements are implicit in these architectures and security is built in by design.
  • Direct the creation of a targeted information security awareness training program for all employees, contractors and approved system users, and establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of this security training program

Security Operations:

  • Oversee security operations functions such as threat monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and monitoring and risk resolution.
  • Ensure the effective management of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection.
  • Lead efforts to detect, respond to, and recover from security incidents and breaches.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the organization’s information security risk management framework.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.

Policy and Procedure Development:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Ensure that security policies are effectively communicated and enforced across the organization.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Mentor and develop a high-performing information security team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the security team.

We’re seeking a Design Engineer, to join our Design Systems team. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining the reusable components and frameworks that power the CBS digital ecosystem. This role requires a deep understanding of both design and engineering, as you will collaborate closely with teams to ensure that our design system components are not only beautiful but scalable and performant across all platforms.

As a member of the Design Systems team, you’ll be responsible for bridging the gap between design and front-end development, ensuring that our design language is seamlessly implemented into code.

Responsibilities

● Build and maintain reusable components, patterns, and libraries across CBS products, ensuring consistency, scalability, and accessibility.

● Develop and maintain a comprehensive system of design tokens that streamline workflows across multiple teams.

● Collaborate closely with teams to translate Figma components into modular, accessible front-end code.

Qualifications

You have:

● Have at least 3 years of professional experience shipping features or products as a frontend or full-stack developer.

● Have experience working on design systems or other internal platform projects

● Expert proficiency with Figma and experience converting design tokens into code.

● Solid knowledge of front-end development, including HTML, CSS, Sass, Typescript, and React.

● Have proactive communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative environment among designers, engineers, and non-technical stakeholders.

● Understand web standards, mobile frameworks, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design best practices.

● A keen eye for detail and a deep appreciation for craft.

Preferred Qualifications:

● 3+ years of experience with a design system management platform such as Supernova.

● 3+ years of experience with token development

We’re seeking a Staff Sec Ops Engineer to lead the Incident Response pillar, driving remediation and response efforts company-wide. In this role, you will act as incident Commander during security incidents, leading the team to resolution in high-pressure situations including making decisions in ambiguous situations. You’ll also contribute to maturing other programs within the Sec Ops team, such as logging & detection, in our engineering-driven cloud infrastructure environment.

This is an extremely cross-functional and collaborative role that will span multiple functions across the company. You will get to partner with internal Security teams (such as Platform Security, Corporate Security) as well as other external teams (such as Infrastructure, Observability, Privacy/Compliance) to create and improve security operations capabilities. What You’ll Do

  • Lead security incident response efforts driving detection & response across the organization through all phases of an incident from identification to post-incident retrospective. 
  • Serve as incident commander in large scale security incidents driving action oriented containment & remediation results. 
  • Be the senior escalation point for the team when needed assisting with investigations and incidents (this is a very hands on role). 
  • Balance both tactical & strategic thinking in high pressure situations using facts & clear communications to lead the response team to next steps. 
  • Provide briefings, status updates, and advice to a variety of audiences, including technical and executive leadership teams during incidents. 
  • Lead developing and maturing security incident response playbooks and processes.
  • Contribute to engineering projects which build, maintain and improve our current monitoring, detection & response programs.
  • Contribute to our detection program by creating advanced detections based on frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams across Affirm and lead key security projects.
  • Lead incident response training, road shows, and learning sessions across both engineering and non-engineering teams.

What We Look For

  • A seasoned Detection and Response Engineer with experience leading investigations and incidents including containment actions and forensics when needed in an engineering focused cloud heavy environment (AWS, EKS experience strongly preferred). 
  • 7+ years of experience with Detection and Response engineering with a significant focus on leading incidents and crises. 
  • Ability to handle high pressure, complex situations in a calm and thoughtful manner, and when needed be the voice of reason and calm across the incident group. 
  • Strong ability to analyze, parse and correlate information against data from multiple sources and when needed engineer solutions to do the same. 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to switch communication styles when needed between technical and non-technical audiences.  
  • Demonstrated experience in common Sec Ops tooling including but not limited to: Elastic, Splunk, Hive, Crowdstrike Falcon or similar. 
  • Experience in creating automations to improve IR program workflows and capabilities (Python preferred)
  • Experience with developing & supporting native data ingestion and data normalization integrations. 
  • Ability to lead large projects and work with cross functional stakeholders throughout the organization. 
  • Ability to partner with Legal & Compliance teams for relevant incident reporting requirements across regulatory bodies. 
  • Experience in building actionable threat intelligence & hunting programs is always a bonus!
