Overview

This position is responsible for daily managing and maintenance of all Cardiology systems and third-party applications within all DH enterprise locations.

An Application Systems Engineer plays a critical role in the development, implementation and integration of software applications and systems. They contribute to the success of projects by designing efficient solutions, ensuring system performance, and providing technical support to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with DH IS teams and vendors to gather and analyze requirements for software applications and systems.
  2. Design, develop and configure software solutions to meet customer needs.
  3. Implement and test commercial (off-the-shelf) and custom developed software applications and systems, ensuring they meet performance, quality and IS Security standards.
  4. Maintain and support all DH Cardiology applications and systems including problem investigation, issue resolution and performing system updates/upgrades.
  5. Provide technical support to stakeholders, assisting with system integration and troubleshooting.
  6. Assist in the creation of technical documentation, including user manuals and guides.
  7. Participate in the evaluation and selection of third-party software components, tools and technologies.
  8. Collaborate with project team members to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  9. Provide training and guidance to other team members on software applications and systems.
  10. Manages single-person or small group projects as assigned, using proscribed workflows from inception through completion, with minimum supervisor oversight.
  11. Participate in presentations in small and medium group settings (informal presentations). Communicates the status of open requests, problems, or issues to all involved parties.
  12. Can provide analysis functions in support of process improvement projects.
  13. Perform work locally, remotely, via telephone, e-mail, and in-person at all Dartmouth Health locations as necessary
  14. All other duties as assigned.

As a Solution Architect, you’ll design and implement tailored Shopify e-commerce solutions, utilizing Shopify Headless Commerce to create customized front-end experiences. You’ll optimize themes with Liquid, manage API integrations with third-party systems, and ensure scalability and security by aligning with industry best practices. Collaborating with development teams, you’ll provide technical leadership, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous improvement by staying current on Shopify advancements.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience, with 4+ years as a Solution Architect focused on Shopify and e-commerce platforms with expertise in Shopify Liquid, Headless Commerce, and API integrations (REST, GraphQL), along with proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, and Vue.js.

What you will be doing:

We are seeking a Principal Biostatistician to lead large global or other major projects, analyze all parts of any clinical study, and provide planning on multiple clinical studies from multiple clients including tracking project activities and project time management. The selected candidate will provide statistical input into other disciplines’ activities and participate in interdepartmental processes; provide technical solutions and advice to staff and clients on statistical processes; supervise and train less experienced biostatisticians within project activities; and be responsible for the development of Statistical Analysis Plans including statistical methodology, statistical programming procedures, definition of derived variables, and data handling rules and mockups.  

Essential Job Duties:                      

  • Lead complex studies such as NDA submissions or complex, multi-protocol programs, potentially coordinating activities across multiple locations, providing statistical oversight and attending relevant project meetings
