The Opportunity 

We are currently looking for a Contract Senior Implementation Specialists to join the Professional Services team. This role will onboard our new GoodTime customers, ensuring they receive a great start and utilize the product to its maximum value. You will onboard, train, and grow new business opportunities. Behind each successful launch is an Implementation Specialist consulting on best practices and providing creative solutions on how to best use Goodtime. 

Our ideal candidate will have project management and technical implementation experience. They will be tech-savvy and passionate about partnering with recruiting leaders and teams to streamline processes and drive value while supporting their goals.

This will initially be a 6-month contract. 

What Success Looks Like: 

  • Successfully lead customer project teams through a multi-phase implementation project plan. Communicate project status, issues, and risks while escalating effectively as appropriate 
  • Use effective training techniques and methodology to communicate complex ideas in a digestible way to drive product adoption 
  • Proactively build and monitor customer experience playbooks; create strategies to address, track, and monitor the results of the playbooks 
  • Maintain an expert level understanding of the GoodTime Hire product (technical and workflow) and recruiting industry to identify new opportunities 
  • Utilize internal tools to track customer plans, engagements, and their results
  • Ensure the right data goes into our systems at the right time, so information about the customer is always up to date, accurate, and provides company wide transparency on the health and context and relationship with our customers 

Must Have: 

  • 4+ years of experience in Customer Success Implementation/Onboarding or CSM
  • Strong project management and problem solving skills 
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex technical topics to a non-technical audience and translate requirements into actionable items 
  • Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills 
  • Adept at building strong networks and relationships 
  • Strong self-starter that thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, small team environment that is capable and willing to wear multiple hats 
  • Ability to effectively partner cross functionally with engineering, product, sales, marketing, etc.

The Senior Content Strategist, B2B Marketing, collaborates closely and effectively with the head of B2B Marketing, and internal cross-functional teams including Business Development, Partner Management, Academic and Product Services, Product Marketing, Brand and others, and external stakeholders including University Partners and other third parties, to drive compelling and strategic

content for B2B initiatives.

The Senior Content Strategist works closely with the head of B2B Marketing to develop and finalize content encompassing email and sales communication assets, website articles, social media posts, conference/event scripts and presentations, and marketing campaign deliverables to serve the initiatives of the Business Development/Inside Sales teams.

The Senior Content Strategist will coordinate efforts with the Risepoint Brand Team to position and schedule the release of select external-facing assets.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Determine writing approaches/strategies for new partner growth initiatives. Responsible for the definition of key audience personas and developing content to engage personas throughout the business lifecycle. Deliver content and messaging in support of key B2B team communication priorities (conference/events, campaigns, sales tools)
  • Develop and deliver content aligned to Risepoint branding, and core strategic goals in each piece written; Analyze content usage, performance metrics, and trends to evolve the efficiency of content across use cases
  • Writes scripts for conference addresses, brief remarks, talking points, partner interview questions, webcasts, blogs posts, ghost writing articles, and other communication tools for B2B use as needed
  • Write B2B-relevant content for use on Risepoint.com, in coordination with Brand Team, including articles, partner interviews, and landing pages for gated delivery of thought leadership assets
  • Write and publish social media posts in support of B2B activities and events. Ensures materials align with brand communication, positioning and tone of voice
  • Coordinates email initiatives with email team to develop and deliver targeted deployments for B2B campaigns, and events, such as salon dinners 10%
  • Works in tandem with head of B2B Marketing, BD team members, Brand Team (vendor manager) and various academic association points-of-contact to expedite conference and event-planning, presentations, and delivery/return of display assets
  • Monitors the hello@risepoint.com inbox 4-5 times per week and directs requests to the appropriate department/channel for prompt responses
  • Writes and self-edits all B2B content for quality, consistency, clarity, accuracy, and readability
  • Maintains a library of materials and records for research and source/reference materials. Stays on top of market trends and competitor insights; curates and archives written materials and presentations that can be referenced again if needed
  • Adheres to deadlines, works proactively and ideates creative ways to elevate Risepoint positioning among prospective partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, education, journalism or related field required
  • 5-10 years of experience developing content and content strategy for the higher education in the B2B space required
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
  • Advanced user PowerPoint desired.
  • Experience using Teams, Outlook. Intermediate – Advanced Required
  • Experienced writer, knowledgeable about the online program management industry.
  • Proven examples of long-form writing (white papers, case studies) and short-form content (articles, flyers, ads, etc.)
  • Skilled in using data and research in developing content,
  • editing, analysis, and optimization
  • Excellent communication skills, teamwork and diplomacy are essential;

Reporting to the SVP of Analytics and Commercial, the Director, Strategy (Go to Market) will be an impact-oriented Commercial leader, and a key cross-functional collaborator and thought partner for Risepoint’s senior executives and functional leaders.  They will work with the Heads of Commercial, Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Product and Finance to develop and implement short and long-term strategies to optimize revenue and customer lifetime value in accordance with Risepoint’s strategic plan. Specifically, the Director will lead strategic and business initiatives related to growing priority offerings, as well as revenue stream and deal structure diversification.

The Director will help formalize Commercial Excellence as a differentiator for Risepoint by refining pricing, packaging, offering and deal structure across our suite of offerings.  They will develop replicable playbooks to help Partner Universities determine Tuition levels for Risepoint-supported programs, and to help Risepoint define deal structures for partner relationships, ranging from Revenue Share to unbundled Fee for Service packages.  These playbooks will embed a holistic view and quantification of lifetime value, and include a mix of primary research, market benchmarking, and price elasticity analysis, as well as tactics and frameworks to support Business Development and Account Management teams in retaining/ renewing existing accounts and securing new business. In addition, the Director will develop plans to evolve our revenue mix toward fee-for-service, including transition plan for existing Partners moving from Revenue Share arrangements.

Additionally, the Director will provide leadership, guidance and coaching to Risepoint colleagues, inspiring a collaborative and collegial culture that is high performing and results focused.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing Tuition playbook including market benchmarking, primary research, and price elasticity analytics, along with framework to determine when each element of the framework should be deployed
  • Developing Pricing playbook for Partner Contracts, including Revenue Share at Different Levels and unbundled Fee for Service offerings, along with framework to determine when each structure should be deployed
  • Developing Discounting frameworks to determine structure, duration, and use case for different Tuition and Contract Price discounts, and a structured approval process
  • Providing negotiation support including analytics and messaging for new deals and renewals
  • Holistic tracking of Tuition and Contract Pricing across our Partner base, and identifying / pursuing opportunities for continuous improvement

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be intellectually curious, strategically minded, commercially-oriented, and highly collaborative. They will be a well-rounded experienced leader with the ability to lead strategic analyses as well as getting into the weeds of commercial negotiations, pricing, discounting and customer interactions. They will handle high pressure situations in a professional and balanced manner and will serve as a mentor, leader, and partner across the organization in a dynamic environment.

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Consulting, Strategy, and Commercial roles, including leading high-impact teams
  • Proven track record of successfully scoping and delivering projects, building and leveraging appropriate processes and tools.
  • Exceptional and well-rounded analytical skills – able to evaluate opportunities from strategic, commercial and operational perspectives
  • Demonstrated analytical toolkit (e.g., negotiations models, financial impact assessments) and proven track record of delivering commercial impact
  • Exceptional leadership, management, and communication skills
  • Exceptional influencing skills and demonstrated ability to work cross functionally across all levels of an organization
  • Experience in the Higher Education and OPM sectors is desirable but not essential
