Position Summary:

As the Engineering Manager on the Platforms & Integrations team, you will own our portfolio of partner integrations.  You will be responsible for ensuring these critical integrations are built robustly, securely, and scale to meet our quickly growing product.  You will manage communications with partners, ensuring Panopto keeps pace with software lifecycle changes.  You will have the opportunity to define the vision for how we ship, maintain, and scale our product, you’ll develop partnership with stakeholders across the overall organization, and you’ll build the team to deliver on that vision. Other responsibilities may be assigned to help drive our vision and mission to  alignment with our organization’s values.

Work you’ll do:

In this role, you will

  • Management and Hiring: Manage and grow an experienced team with multiple senior/principal engineers. You will define and execute a hiring plan for your org that will allow the team to meet the needs of our rapidly growing business and allow everyone on the team to contribute their highest and best impact. You will also mentor and drive the growth of the talented engineers on your team.
  • Integrations: experience and knowledge of software engineering, technical architecture, and API based integrations will allow you to lead efforts to identify, prioritize, and improve architectural problems that exist in the current codebase. You will provide guidance and a plan for maturing our codebase and systems to allow our teams and the engineering organization to efficiently grow. Ideal candidates have a strong attention to detail and desire to get to the bottom of how things work, a drive to take action and improve things where they can, and a natural focus on ensuring an excellent customer experience. Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or an equivalent amount of experience or training in industry
  • Multiple years of experience working on complex projects in a professional environment, preferably with a focus C# or Java development
  • People management for teams of 4+ engineers, including senior and staff/principal-level ICs
  • Running operations for highly available (tier one) services.  Best practices for logging, metrics, monitoring, real-time debugging/diagnostics, and alarming
  • Project management, stakeholder communication, and communication with non-technical teams
  • Technical expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Technical expertise in distributed and scalable system architecture
  • Technical expertise in development infrastructure and automation frameworks
  • Learning, technical curiosity, ability to rapidly build expertise in new areas and new technical stacks.

The Role

In response to the increasing demands and expanding scope of our Business Development Team, we are excited to add a Sales Enablement Program Manager for our Account Executive and Account Managers Teams. In this role you will be vital in effectively developing AE & AMs at all stages of development.

What You Will Do

  • Assist in Onboarding new sellers
  •  Support Sellers in skill development
  •  Using solid Change Management principles, support changes to the sales organizations as we grow and scale
  •  Work closely with Sales leadership to collaborate developing solutions and strategy with the sales teams
  • Coach and develop sales reps and sales leaders
  • Support New Business and Upsells by encompassing our One Giving Platform by supporting the sale of the suite of products and services
  •  Help Sales Teams reach increased sales goals
  •  Ensure Sales process is instituted and followed
  • Increase sellers skills and confidence in the sales process

What You Need to Succeed

  • 3-5 years of prior work experience in Sales Enablement 
  • Former quota carrying seller or sales manager
  • Excellent ability to design and deliver content
  • Track record of developing sales talent
  • Onboarding experience
