The Insurance Team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of personalized and data driven products.. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the insuretech landscape, particularly in auto and homeowners insurance. This role is strategic and cross-functional, requiring leadership across product development, business strategy, and customer experience.

You will be a strategic member of the team sharing your deep understanding of consumer insights to drive product innovation and personalization. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a strong collaborator who enjoys working with multiple stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of product initiatives. You excel at market analysis, project management and performance monitoring to ensure that you are delivering strong business results. You are a strong communicator and know how to articulate business objectives and consumer needs to peers at all levels. This role reports to the General Manager, Insurance.

  • Leverage data and partner integrations to deliver Insurance solutions, aligning with the overall company vision.
  • Define and drive the strategy to build competitive and innovative insurance products that address customer needs.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify trends, customer pain points, and opportunities for product growth.
  • Ensure that products are relevant and valuable to the target audience with a deep understanding of the financial profiles, goals, and challenges of expected consumers to drive product innovation and personalization. 
  • Own product integrations with third party partners and NerdWallet clients.
  • Seamlessly execute on roadmaps for successful product launches and updates by partnering with data, engineering, marketing, and editorial teams to create and implement product roadmaps. 
  • Lead product development projects from concept to launch, including defining requirements, setting timelines, and coordinating with stakeholders. 
  • Live in the numbers: monitor and analyze product performance metrics, implement A/B tests and other optimization strategies to improve user engagement and conversion rates.
  • Stand in the shoes of our consumer: empathize with the audience we are building for and always bring consumer insights to the table.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to ensure long-term success.

Your experience:

  • 10+ years in product management, preferably in Insuretech.
  • Proven track record of owning a product roadmap, leading products to success and driving significant business outcomes. 
  • Strong ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization and clearly articulate product ideas and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficient in using data analytics tools to derive actionable insights. 
  • Ability to work closely with engineering teams and understand technical concepts especially driving product integrations with third party APIs. 
  • Experience with regulatory frameworks related to insurance.
  • Experience with data science and machine learning is a plus.
  • Experience with SEO and performance marketing is a plus.

Your role as the B2B Landing Page Manager

The B2B Landing Page Manager will be responsible for planning and implementing digital campaigns on landing page experiences, developing web strategies, and creating engaging content that aligns with product positioning and resonates with the target audience.

This role is remote and can be located in any US state, except for Hawaii.

How you’ll contribute

  • From a media briefing, understand the digital implementation required to achieve goal of campaign.
  • Create a channel operating model. Develop channel fiscal year forecast and goals. Translate business initiatives into a web strategy to include planning, design and deployment plan.
  • Work with business partners to deliver engaging and relevant experiences that align with the product positioning and messaging frameworks, resonate with the target audience, and fill the gaps to meet customer needs.

Your skills and approach

  • Deep experience in paid media landing pages, digital campaigns, and optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B web strategy, UX design, and brand storytelling, with a proven ability to use data to generate strategic insights.
  • Paid media landing page experience, including with a strong understanding in how paid media campaigns function. Possessing social media display and search media buying experience a plus.

The IT Disaster Recovery (DR) Lead is responsible for the development, implementation, testing, and management of the organization’s IT disaster recovery strategy to ensure IT resilience in the event of a crisis. This role involves overseeing DR planning, coordinating recovery operations, conducting regular testing, and ensuring that all IT services can be restored in compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).
