Position Description

We’re looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial Product Manager to help lead the development of Eleanor’s internal technology platform within and surrounding Salesforce. This role will help us build and deliver a world-class digital experience through the execution and creation of the Eleanor Health experience for; sales growth and access (Sales, Business Development, Call Center Operations, and Referral Management).

This role is critical to the success of Eleanor’s mission by helping us optimize and automate internal processes critical to increasing our payer sales, provider networks, and efficiencies for our business development and call center teams.

Reporting to Eleanor’s Director of Product and Technical Operations, this role will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders across our engineering, design, clinical, data, marketing, sales, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on the execution and creation of the Eleanor Health experience for; sales growth and access (Sales, Business Development, and Referral Management).
  • Own the CCaaS platform strategy, selection, implementation, and ongoing enhancements.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and execution skills
  • Define and analyze product metrics to inform decision-making and measure success
  • Work with cross-functional teams to facilitate prioritization discussions, gain alignment, and provide transparency and input into the product development process
  • Provide thought leadership and help define the product through deep stakeholder partnership, and assessing opportunities using a hypothesis-driven approach focused on delivering outcomes
  • Own the Salesforce platform, applications, and product roadmap: set the vision and prioritize solutions that will deliver impactful experiences, product performance, and operational scalability
    • Manage the backlog and prioritization of work for execution by our Salesforce engineering team and external partner(s).
    • Manage the relationship with our external salesforce partners and engineers.
    • Drive product requirements definition, product planning, and product design based on successful experiments to launch new capabilities at scale
    • Evangelize roadmaps, prioritization, and new features to internal stakeholders, including executives. Analyze, track and report on success metrics to cross-functional teams.
    • Be the voice of our members, staff, and providers. Thoroughly understand their needs, including conducting user research and usability testing in conjunction with product designers.
    • Leverage user feedback in all its forms to understand how staff and members engage with our products and marketing materials make better decisions and drive meaningful outcomes for the business
    • Partner closely with vendors, health plans, and enterprise customers to devise and execute deep product integrations
    • Lead the ideation, scoping, execution, and launch of new product features

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience working in Product Management or related roles
  • A passion for our mission to redefine care for whole health, including; addictions treatment and behavioral health
  • Proven track record of launching new products and/or programs from planning to launch
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, subject to ambiguity
  • Self-driven with high customer empathy and a strong focus on execution
  • Demonstrated project management skills, leading teams of diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate findings/insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to crunch data and deliver actionable insights
  • Technical and analytical aptitude and confidence in learning new systems
  • Entrepreneurial mindset who vigorously looks for ways to improve the user experience
  • Detail oriented with stellar organizational and leadership skills
  • An undergraduate degree is required, and a related graduate degree is a plus
  • Prior experience in healthcare is preferred, but not required
  • Salesforce experience is preferred, but not required

As a dedicated Product Manager on the Growth Team you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with both the CEO and CTO (co-founders) on improving and building upon our current product development process. Your mission will be to guide users along the user journey, from first discovering BioRender to becoming a champion for our product.

About The Role

  • In your first 30 days, you’ll dive in and really understand everything about the user, the product, the team and the company. You’ll do 10+ user calls, attend sales demos, review product feedback and meet with key people across the company. You’ll build out an analytics dashboard and build a mental model of different user personas and their pain points. You’ll learn the ins and outs of the product, understand trade-offs we’ve made up until now and identify areas of improvement. You’ll get to know everyone on your team and their strengths and areas of expertise. You’ll internalize the company objectives, long term business goals and how teams fit together.
  • In the first 90 days, in collaboration with the Product team, you’ll develop the product roadmap for the Growth Team and will begin to lead projects of increasing complexity. You’ll begin to own product development processes for the team: running standups, grooming Jira backlog, helping to break down projects, prioritizing/triaging bugs reported. By the end of your first 90 days, you’ll design, deliver and analyze your first product experiments that aim to increase core business metrics.

What you bring to the table

  • 3+ years of product management experience, ideally at a fast growing SaaS startup
  • Proven track record of delivering product changes that have significant business impact (have a direct impact on product usage, revenue and/or top of the funnel user acquisition)
  • Successful track record of owning a significant part of a user-facing product and delivering features that customers need, preferably on a web-based product
  • Significant experience with running a successful product development process, including maintaining Jira, running planning sessions and working closely with engineering to get features delivered
  • Educational background in life sciences is a plus

The Learning Experience Designer (LXD) II leverages and applies relevant teaching and learning experiences in developing digital-first solutions that solve specific market problems shared by teachers and students.
