The Divisional Applications Audit team is a critical unit of the global Audit function and performs audits focusing on S&P Global Divisional Applications and Information Security.

This role is part of the global audit team focusing on execution of Application Technology audits globally. This role will provide senior executives a companywide perspective of the state of the internal technology environment.

  • Experience in various technologies and auditing Applications and Platforms.
  • Increment the use of digital next generation auditor capabilities, adoption of agile practices, data analytics and automation where possible, to improve efficiency and quality of Audit execution.
  • Keeping up to date on Inforand Cyber Security practices, Compliance, Internal Auditing, emerging trends and successful practices in audits related to Information Security audits.
  • Solving complex problems using audit expertise and judgment.
  • Participate in activities related to systems development, new products, and analyze new policies to ensure that control considerations are evaluated in the early stages of these activities.


What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in executing and delivering information technology audits.
  • Experience in auditing web applications.
  • Knowledge of security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and other compliance requirements
  • Experience in financial services industry would be an advantage.
  • Willingness to dive deep into audits combined with experience in collaborating with a team.
  • Use of data analytics tools such as Alteryx and Tableau is a plus.
  • Good technical capabilities combined with a commonsense approach.
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, teamwork, and flexibility to deliver IA department goals.
  • Strong written and oral communication, approachable style, and well-developed negotiation and listening skills.
  • A fast learner who can quickly absorb the nuances and behaviors of S&P Global’s Technology architecture.
  • A Bachelor/master’s degree in information technology or Computer Science or related major
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and other relevant certifications is an advantage.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $72,300 to $143,800. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

The role

There are multiple departments embedded within our studio; Future Lab for experimentations, Press engine for copywriting, editing and content, Hype Machine for marketing and PR and The factory for production. As secondary role you are always welcome to contribute and engage with other departments incase you are interested.

As a UI/UX Designer you are responsible for designing and prototyping user interfaces for various websites from concept and wireframing to developing interactive prototypes. While your design needs to respect our design philosophy and be in accordance with our design systems, we expect you to reflect on and contribute to these systems since you will be the first hire in this position. Hence, it is important that you can expand and contribute to the foundations of our design language.
