Join the Aetna Part D Application Development Team as the enterprise embarks on a journey to reimagine its omnichannel health experience while harnessing cuttingedge technology to streamline and simplify the stakeholder experience. Our team will develop a Medicare Part D Actuarial bid model by leveraging modern digital assets like cloud computing.
As Sr. Manager of Application Development (IC), you will develop solutions for Medicare Part D Actuarial processes, including pricing models, rating systems, reporting tools and actuarial databases. You will work closely with the other members of the development team and alongside actuaries to understand the business needs and implement a custom solution that delivery the right user experience.
This is an individual Contributor position.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Write clean, scalable code using Python, SAS and SQL programming languages
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code
- Collaborate and clearly communicate with various teams, leaders, and stakeholders across the organization to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet underwriting and actuarial needs
Skills you bring:
- Ability to manage to a timeline while dealing with continual prioritization conflicts and resource constraints
- Ability to effectively work on teams within a highly collaborative environment.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
- Minimum: 95,000
- Maximum: 209,000
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with version control software
- 8+ years of experience with Python, SAS and SQL programming languages
- 8+ years of healthcare domain experience
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for both technical and nontechnical audiences at all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience working with Part D Claims
Education
- Bachelor s degree in computer science or related engineering field
