Job Summary:
SelectQuote’s digital marketing team needs a Social Media Strategist. The Social Media Strategist will work in coordination with the Director of SEO & Content Strategy, as well as members of other departments, to establish and execute strategy around SelectQuote ratings, reviews, and social media. This position will be responsible for organic social media initiatives across all divisions of SelectQuote, one of the country’s preeminent national insurance brokerages.
The Social Media Strategist manages the execution of organic social media deliverables, channel monitoring, weekly reporting, and long-term social media and review/response strategy as it relates to the broader SelectQuote brand-building and business objectives. SelectQuote is looking for candidates with an entrepreneurial spirit and a creative approach to storytelling in the social media space.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in the development and execution of data-driven social media strategy for SelectQuote (including platform consideration, content publishing, and response strategy)
- Develop and refine a rating and review strategy for SelectQuote
- Create, curate, and manage organic social content, including copywriting, design, and multimedia elements
- Coordinate, schedule, and monitor organic social media content
- Employ and leverage social listening strategies, including helping select appropriate tools and tech to aid in this effort
- Manage social engagement, including responses to organic posts, ads, and tagged mentions
- Manage SelectQuote reviews/ratings, including responding to reviews where applicable, answering questions, and routing customers to the appropriate departments when necessary
- Monitor and advise on social media trends and help determine where/how these apply to SelectQuote
- Plan for and lead organic social media campaigns, including tracking and reporting on the success/effectiveness of those campaigns
- Develop meaningful insights around social media performance and areas of opportunity for SelectQuote
- Routinely conduct competitive and market research
- Collaborate with others on the marketing team to ensure all marketing initiatives and messaging are consistent and aligned with company and division goals
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Deep understanding of content marketing and brand-building theory
- Strong understanding of foundational social media elements and platforms, their audiences, and how to leverage them to maximize branding and lead generation efforts

Title: Senior Product Designer

NoRedInk is looking for a product designer to help us achieve our mission of unlocking every writer’s potential. In this role, you’ll serve as the dedicated designer for two of our cross-functional feature teams: 1) Product Growth and 2) Learning Experience. Every feature team at NoRedInk owns a significant aspect of our strategy and product, and you’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, curriculum specialists, and other key stakeholders to build innovative software solutions that improve the lives of our users.
More specifically, the product designer is responsible for owning the end-to-end design strategy and solutions for each of their product areas by using design thinking, creative problem solving, and visual design craft to deliver meaningful experiences for our students, teachers, and administrators. All of our product designers are generalists, meaning that they drive research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and everything in between.
Design at NoRedInk sits within the larger product team, consisting of product managers and product designers. The design team itself is small but mighty, currently consisting of two other product designers. As the third member of this team, you’ll be a partner in up-leveling the role of design at NoRedInk by assuming the highest level of ownership over our design system, direction, and processes.
In this role, you will:
- Own end-to-end design for two product areas: Product Growth and Learning Experience.
- Drive research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and usability testing for new features and experiments.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, curriculum specialists, and stakeholders from other departments to define, design, and build features that delight users
- Drive improvements to our product’s overall design, tooling, and processes, and contribute to maintaining and growing our design system

- 7+ years relevant experience on an in-house product design team

- Strong across information architecture, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping

Reporting directly to the Senior Communications Director, the Graphic Design Manager is responsible for the visual representation of the Caring Across brand across all touchpoints (print, digital, video, photography, etc.) from ideation to execution.

Role and Responsibilities
Brand management and strategy
- Develop a nuanced and practical understanding of Caring Across’ brand identity and maintain the organization’s brandbook and brand templates.
- Ensure all internal and external visual communications reflects and advances the organization’s goals and adheres to brand guidelines.
- Incorporate and grow design systems while educating staff and peers.
- Serve as subject matter expert for issues regarding visual identity and graphic design.
Collateral creation and creative direction
- Design and produce a high volume of digital and printed materials, campaign collateral, presentations, merchandise, ads, and other designed items.
- Assemble and prepare final print-ready layouts for printers also preps final digital files for online usage.
- Identify and execute original and engaging design solutions for different types of material, design directions, and creative concepts.
- Lead multimedia content production efforts, which may include video editing and post-production, as well as photography and photo editing.
Project management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the goals and target audiences for specific initiatives and projects, and develop creative concepts and directions that advance those goals.
- Present design solutions to cross-functional teams, be open to feedback, and know how and when to advance strategic design choices and best practices.
- Manage external vendor projects and relationships to deadlines and budget.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university in graphic design and/or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience including implementing and extensive understanding of design principles, techniques, and technologies.
- Candidates should share a portfolio of work with their application that demonstrates experience with Adobe Creative Suite; print and digital design best practices; video editing and post-production programs; photography principles and photo editing.
- Experience in typography, layout, color theory, and information design preferred.
