Curology is looking for a highly talented contract Motion Graphics Designer to translate strategic briefs into compelling, well-executed, and high performing direct response content across paid channels for Curology. You will have a strong growth mindset and the ability to understand what performs on social channels. This role requires a candidate with a proactive attitude, a sharp ad-strategy mindset, with the ability to produce growth oriented creative content.
What you’ll do:
- Design performance-focused Facebook, Instagram and TikTok ads. You will be expected to video edit and design ads for social media platforms aimed at hitting performance metrics (e.g. click-through and conversion rate).
- Translate growth creative briefs into high-performing creative with quick turnaround times.
- Ensure deliverables meet brand standards, brand guidelines and adhere to strategy.
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of motion graphics design and video editing experience.
- A portfolio — must submit in order to be considered and include previous ad creative. Bonus points if your portfolio clearly lays out your process and involvement in each project.
- A creative problem solver with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be able to adhere to set brand guidelines.
- Strong understanding of typography, photo editing, and color theory.
- You must be knowledgeable about what works well for paid growth ads.
- High degree of proficiency in video, motion, Adobe Creative Suite, with special attention to After Effects and Premiere Pro
- Experience with Figma, Photoshop and InDesign a plus
- Proficient in Google products (Drive, Docs, Slides)
The hourly rate for this position will be between $30 to $50 depending on your experience, skillset, and geographic location.

- Tackle projects of greater complexity and assume responsibility for larger numbers of deliverable assets related to a common outcome. When a gap can’t be adequately addressed with single-threaded instruction, keep designing until all the angles are covered
- Collaborate with facilitators, field leaders, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and develop innovative online, blended, and web-enhanced courses
- Lead and oversee course design and development projects
- Facilitate course review process to ensure alignment with field expectations and needs
- Regularly assess, adjust, and create learning materials to ensure our learning solutions are up to date and keeping pace with product changes/releases
- Lead stakeholders through the design process and make key recommendations for design with learner’s needs in mind

- Facilitate Train the Trainer sessions for new and existing content resulting in consistency in delivery

What you bring to the role
- BA degree or equivalent years of experience required
- 5+ years of experience in Instructional Design or related Learning and Development position
- Minimum two years experience designing sales-centric training content
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in an organized, efficient manner in a fast pace with changing requirements
- Strong attention to detail, project management skills, and can work independently with cross-functional teams
- Well-versed in problem identification, needs and learner analysis, educational strategies, curriculum strategies and requirements scoping, adult learning theory, implementation strategies, and effective evaluation and feedback methods

Compensation – The on-target earnings (OTE) range target for the role seniority described in this job description is $65,000 – $90,000. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, geographic location, compensation/equity mix, and market data.
