Data is the backbone of what we are building here at Equip. We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team and help us create meaningful analyses that improve patient lives and help Equip grow. As a Data Analyst at Equip, you’ll have high impact opportunities across a variety of domains including clinical outcomes, operations, growth & strategy, and more. The primary responsibilities include building automated reports and dashboards, using your experience and knowledge to best visualize data, conducting exploratory analyses, performing ad-hoc analysis as needed, and helping the organization become more data-driven.

The right person will have strong analytical skills and the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate data with attention to detail and accuracy. The ideal candidate is also comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, solving problems independently, and comfortable with ambiguity as data systems and processes are still being shaped.

Responsibilities

  • Building automated reports and dashboards
  • Visualizing data to clearly communicate findings
  • Conducting exploratory analysesPerforming ad-hoc analysis as needed
  • Training/assisting users of the BI platform

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst Experience building dashboards, visualizations, and reports using BI tools (Mode, Tableau, PowerBI, Google Data Studio, Quicksight, etc.)
  • Proficient with SQL
  • Experience with statistical scripting / analysis tools (Python, R. etc.)
  • Strong skills in communication and collaboration with diverse teams
  • Organized and results-driven
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, subject to rapid change and innovation

Bonus if you have the following:

  • A masters degree in a health-related field (e.g., public health, social work, nutrition)
  • Experience with health data and/or with analysis for research publications
  • Experience with javascript and D3.js
  • Previous experience working in a healthtech startup
  • Familiarity with A/B testing techniques
  • Passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment and expanding access to treatment

Position Description

Hands-on senior level software development engineer who is experienced in design, develop, validate and delivering embedded and application software.

  • You will work with software system architect on software system block diagram and detailed design.
  • You will work with senior engineer and management in developing roadmap, schedule, and implementing test plan.
  • You will work closely with product management in understanding the product requirements and provide technical expertise to ensure all parties understand the requirement implications.
  • You will work with electrical hardware engineers to select appropriate components and assist in designing the hardware platform.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience at writing embedded C/C++ applications running on Linux, RTOS, and bare-metal.
  • Strong experience with host or cross-compiled C/C++ applications.
  • Experience using ARM, DSP, and full featured microcontrollers
  • Experience using IDEs such as Eclipse, TI CodeComposer, Visual Studio, IAR WorkBench
  • Experienced in implementing device-side Cloud support remote visibility/accessibility, data upload/download, over-the-air FW update, audio streaming, MQTT messaging.

Software Engineer – Sensor Research Responsibilities

  • Analyze, evaluate, design, develop, integrate, debug and test real-time AR and VR software for advanced sensor prototypes and user experiences
  • Build tools, SDKs, platforms and documentation that enable more efficient and effective research
  • Build clean readable code, debug complex problems that span systems, prioritize ruthlessly and get things done with a high level of efficiency
  • Collaborate in a team environment across multiple scientific and engineering disciplines, making the architectural tradeoffs required to rapidly deliver software solutions
  • Develop software for a variety of experimental consumer sensor technologies

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years C/C++ experience, including C++11 (and up) features and principles
  • 5+ years experience creating, extending, integrating and maintaining high performance real-time systems such as video codecs, sensor fusion systems, graphics rendering, image processing, physics, networking, animation, medical systems or robotics
  • 5+ years experience with modern RISC low-power architectures, toolchains, compilers, firmware and optimization techniques
  • 3+ years of experience in sensor technology, such as cameras, depth sensors, microphones, IMUs, lidar, radar, etc.
  • 3+ years machine learning or deep learning experience with tools such as TensorFlow or PyTorch

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in SDK development
  • Experience with driver and firmware system integration
  • Experience accelerating image processing across systems from CPU to GPU to FPGA
