SENIOR UX DESIGNER

We are looking for a SENIOR UX DESIGNER to develop new experiences for customers for our international products. This position closely partners with our global team of Product Managers and Designers to identify opportunities in new and growing markets. The ideal candidate is passionate about using data and product experimentation to drive their work and reveal what our users need when they need it.
ABOUT THIS TEAM
This position is part of BOLD’s UX & Design department and will work directly with the International Product team. This team works collaboratively to identify opportunities where modifications would better serve our customers outside of the United States. Members of this team reside in the USA, Puerto Rico, Poland, and India.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop data-driven design solutions supporting BOLD’s experimentation-focused development process.
- Define interaction models, user task flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI specifications.
- Support strategic efforts with innovative and user-centered thinking.
- Assist in user research through the collection of data, and incorporate this data into designs.
- Manage the design process throughout an entire project drive decisions, track issues, and work with developers to produce exceptional work.
- Communicate design choices and direction effectively to stakeholders.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 5+ years of web and mobile design experience (preferably for a high-traffic, consumer-facing website).
- Portfolio featuring design thinking, decision-making, and high-fidelity design deliverables.
- Ability to convey concepts through wire-framing, flows, and mockups.
- Effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously, with shifting priorities.
- Interest in driving product growth through experimentation, A/B testing, and product optimizations.
WHAT’S GOOD TO HAVE
- Experience working with user research and usability findings.
- Knowledge of in-product A/B testing and experimentation.
- Ability to build and maintain component libraries in Figma.
PAY TRANSPARENCY:
The starting base pay for this role is between $95,000 – $133,000 USD. Individual pay is based on location, transferable skills, experience, and other relevant factors. This estimated range is based on the best available market data and factors, all of which are subject to change. This position may also be eligible for a bonus and medical, dental, vision, life, short and long-term disability insurance, 401(k), paid time off, sick leave, and paid holidays, all subject to applicable plan terms.

The Role:
A technical writer creates software documentation, user manuals, and other technical content that converts complex technical information to a non-technical language. Technical writers work with developers to create software documentation that reflects the software or system for the end-users. This includes both user-facing documentation, such as technical manuals and tutorials, and internal developer documentation including code diagrams and API references. Technical writers have a strong understanding of the products they are documenting to explain complex concepts in simple language. Technical writers also often play a role in editing and proofreading documentation that other technical writers have created.
Sometimes, a technical writer conducts user testing, to ensure that documentation is suitable for the end-user. The goal of a technical writer is to produce high-quality documentation that meets the needs of its intended audience. The software documentation ability of technical writers in the IT industry is second to none.
What you’ll do:

- The minimum salary for this role is $63,000. The total compensation package includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses as well as a 1-time equity grant based on level.

Gopuff is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join its Data Engineering team. This individual will be responsible for building the data platform that enables analytics, data science, and machine learning at scale. The ideal candidate will bring data and cloud engineering expertise and leadership to influence the team’s technical direction.

Responsibilities
- Implement generalized platform solutions that process data at scale
- Develop Gopuff’s data infrastructure and partner closely with the Cloud Engineering team
- Create deployment strategies processes to improve platform quality and stability
- Participate in proof of concepts and pilot new technologies that impact team architecture
- Engage in design and architectural review sessions with data engineers
- Conduct code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions across data engineering and partner teams
Preferred Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in a Data Engineering or Cloud Engineering role
- Experience deploying open-source data tools in a production environment such as Apache Spark, Kafka, etc
- Experience deploying applications and service to Kubernetes and using related tools in the Kubernetes ecosystem (i.e. Helm, ArgoCD, Istio)
- Experience implementing DevOps best practices within the data platform, including solutions for CI/CD, data observability, monitoring, and lineage
- Experience with Infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
- Experience with data warehouses, data lakes, and their underlying infrastructure
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as Azure, AWS
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, RESTful API development
- Experience building batch data pipelines using DAG-based tools such as Dagster or Airflow
Pay Range

The Opportunity at Komodo Health
This role is critical to designing and implementing data processing and analysis programming pipelines for Life Science/HEOR/RWE research studies utilizing the Komodo Healthcare Map.
Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have
- Develop programming pipeline to perform large-scale data extraction, transformation, and validations to facilitate high-quality HEOR/RWE studies using SQL
- Implement and execute analytic plans for observational research studies using Komodo data
- Perform complex statistical modeling in a programming language such as R/Python/SAS
- Take ownership of the analysis pipeline to generate results, and ensure that results align with study objectives and statistical approaches in the research protocol
- Present interim and final results internally for review by stakeholders, incorporate feedback to the analysis pipeline and iterate on analytic plans as needed.

- Design and implement standardized programs for reproducible research
What you bring to Komodo
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Public Health, Epidemiology, or other relevant disciplines.
- At least three years of industry experience working with large-scale databases using SQL (data query, data cleaning, data transformation).
- Experience working with a large healthcare database (preferably administrative claims or EHR).
- Experience working in a research team collaborating with subject-matter experts on epidemiological research studies.
- Basic understanding of concepts used in epidemiological study design.
- Experience performing statistical analysis (descriptive analytics, regression, hypothesis testing, and visualization).
