Job Description:
Dynamo Technologies is seeking a Web Architect to support one of our federal clients. Primary responsibility is to provide architectural planning and technical team guidance in the delivery of multiple web modernization tasks. Secondary tasks include supporting the maturing of solution planning across multiple projects and support business development, technical demos, solutions development for proposals.
Duties/ Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop Drupal 9.x CMS Agency websites
- Develop and architect, in coordination with other Agency solution architects, enterprise-wide web system architecture and framework for hosting existing Agency websites on Drupal or other web platforms
- Serve as a liaison between the project manager and the customer’s architectural team
- Provide technical support and guidance to the web development team
- Assist with developing Information Architecture (IA) for new and existing websites
- Advise and recommend roadmap and approach for migrating from legacy websites into Drupal CMS
- Integrate and maintain websites and web applications and systems with other internal and external applications, tools and databases (e.g. Solr)
- Analyze current web technology environment and architecture, and recommend opportunities for improvements in areas such as, but not limited to, expanding capacity, reducing time and cost, increasing effectiveness
- Assist with developing web technologies standards and governance for the web program
Secondary tasks would include supporting business development efforts and providing architectural and technical guidance to other projects:
- Opportunity to work directly with Dynamo Technologies leadership and business development teams to contribute technical expertise, and development of customer and market penetration strategies through the analysis, design, and assessment of software oriented technical solution approaches to meet anticipated target client requirements and objectives

Required Skills/Abilities
- Experience developing web solutions in Drupal 9 in a LAMP environment
- Proficiency with core web technologies of HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3
- Software development experience, specifically back-end web development
- Experience with cutover readiness planning for Drupal 9 websites
- Excellent abilities to analyze client “as-is” and “to-be” business requirements, software technical solutions and constraints, and translate them into comprehensive technical solutions that satisfy client objectives
