The role
As a member of our marketing team, you’ll play a crucial role in inspiring, championing, and connecting our incredible (and quickly growing!) network of customers and climate leaders. You will:
- Architect and implement a thoughtful and authentic community strategy to connect, champion, educate, and delight a network of climate leaders
- Design and execute on programs, events, and content that foster connections, enable learning and collaboration, and meet the evolving needs of community members
- Identify and execute on opportunities for customer partnerships and co-marketing
- Help amplify and support our community members, including by being an active participant on social media
- Select and run day-to-day operations for a community forum or platform
- Help build a diverse, ambitious, creative, and high-achieving Marketing team
We’re looking for someone who has:
- 5+ years in customer-facing marketing, with substantial experience in building and owning community programs and executing on events, preferably from the ground up
- An outstanding and demonstrable track record of developing meaningful and authentic customer relationships and exhibiting a strong sense of customer empathy
- Strong opinions on what constitutes a best-in-class community function, with examples and anecdotes from previous experiences and learnings
- Expert knowledge of community management tools and processes
- Exceptional communication skills and a high bar for quality

The role
Product Managers are the glue that unites all aspects of a product under a single, cohesive vision and execution plan. They are passionate and entrepreneurial, and they are accountable for delivering results.
As a result, Product Management at Watershed is a hands on and cross functional role. You’ll work with Engineering, Design, Climate Strategy Managers, users, and more to decide the what and why behind our products and drive progress.
We’re hiring a product lead for Watershed’s Marketplace team. Today, Watershed’s Marketplace enables our users to invest in cutting-edge carbon removal and high-quality carbon offsets, right from the Watershed dashboard. We work directly with a roster of innovative partners, including frontier carbon removal technologies, helping build the market for cutting-edge solutions while permanently removing carbon from the atmosphere. The Product Lead in this area will set the strategy for the area, build the product, and work closely with the cross functional team of domain & science experts, engineers, designers, and operations team members.

The Senior Industrial Designer will lead the design of primary and secondary packaging for product launches from the initial design concept through development to commercialization while upholding sustainability and cost objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Merge structural, functional and sustainability requirements alongside brand aesthetic to design primary and secondary packaging solutions
- Work in close partnership with the Director of Industrial Design, Creative and Marketing teams across Amyris’s brand portfolio to define how brand language translates to product design (form factor and CMF)
- Collaborate with Brand, Packaging Development, Product Development teams and other key cross-functional teams to deliver functional and manufacturable packaging design intent through 3D technical drawings and renderings
- Translate innovation or marketing conceptions into technically industrialized products
- Visualize packaging concepts to be used for internal stakeholder presentations, external design direction for suppliers and consumer facing applications (user testing, site merchandising, etc)
- Drive innovation in packaging through structure, materials, and manufacturing processes by staying up to date on industry trends and technology
- Build out and sustain rendering tools and libraries (colors, materials, finishes, lighting, environments) to support the efficient creation of 3D assets.
- Ability to navigate complexity and uncertainty in order to drive simple and concise Design solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor‘s Degree in Industrial or Product Design.
- 6+ years of proven experience in packaging design (with a focus on skincare, cosmetic or consumer packaged goods products).
- Full working knowledge of materials, structural and functional design, and tooling for primary and secondary packaging.
- Expert level proficiency in modeling/rendering programs (Solidworks and Keyshot preferred), experience animating packaging is a bonus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience working as part of an in-house design team.
- Stellar portfolio demonstrating relevant experience.
- Solid understanding of production, manufacturing, product integrity & production cycle timelines.
- Self-disciplined and motivated in a fast-paced environment that requires creativity and strong attention to detail.

- Deep understanding of security principles and best practices, including industry frameworks such as PCI and SOC2
- Advanced knowledge of OWASP Top 10 for web, mobile and APIs

- Demonstrated experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc), having designed, built, and maintained secure cloud platforms that run highly reliable, web-facing services
