About the Role

Veho uses a network of independent contractor driver partners to complete last-mile package deliveries to customers. The Driver team is responsible for a) growing the network of driver partners in line with expected delivery volume, b) improving the driver partner experience on the platform to increase engagement, retention, and satisfaction, and c) helping maintain Veho’s high standards for on-time delivery and overall delivery quality. As Director, Net Driver Growth, you will lead a team that is responsible for ensuring we have sufficient capacity in the driver partner network to complete all package deliveries. You will determine how to grow capacity across new and existing driver partners in a way that both aligns with Veho’s growth and efficiency goals and creates an attractive experience for driver partners. To achieve these goals, your team will own and make improvements across the entirety of the driver partner lifecycle, including acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and retention.

Role Objectives:

  • Improve new driver partner acquisition efficacy and efficiency via channel management, budget allocation and optimization, and onboarding funnel optimization
  • Improve driver partner retention and engagement in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders, including Product
  • Develop and report on metrics to deepen our understanding of acquisition, retention, and engagement
  • Optimize decision making across net driver growth levers to support growth and efficiency goals while maintaining an attractive driver partner experience
  • Improve how we react to anticipated changes in package volume and marketplace conditions in partnership with Marketplace, Expansion, and GMs
  • Develop and grow a team of Strategy & Operations Managers
  • Partner with Head of Driver on prioritization and long-term strategy

What You Bring:

  • 8-10 years of experience that includes project management, analytics, and problem-solving

A Brief Overview
Under the direction of an Internal Audit Leader, the Senior, IT Internal Auditor will assist in the company’s Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 404 process including documentation, testing and coordination with finance and IT. This role will also be responsible for performing individual internal audit projects, as part of the internal audit plan. Work performed will include coverage of functional and operating units with focus on IT operational processes. Assisting with internal audit management, periodic reporting to the audit committee, development of the annual internal audit plan, and championing internal control and corporate governance concepts throughout the business are additional functions.

What you will do

  • Assist in the Company’s (SOX) 404 process by documenting and testing Information Technology General Controls
  • Collaborate with department personnel to ensure SOX 404 objectives, deliverables and timelines are met
  • Assist in the coordination and tracking of internal/external testing of controls and track the status of gaps and remediation actions
  • Assist in the coordination process to obtain management assessments of internal controls, including the identification of weaknesses and opportunities for improvement
  • Provide an objective, independent, risk-based evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of the company’s technology, operational and financial controls
  • Perform all phases of the audit process including planning, fieldwork, closeout, report writing, wrap-up and follow-up with little supervision
  • Develop and execute test procedures / audit programs to ensure that controls are operating as intended
  • Participate in special projects such as risk assessments, providing assistance to external auditors (including performing testing, gathering requested documentation, etc.), system implementations and upgrades
  • Maintain comprehensive working papers to support and substantiate audit observations

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, Computer Science or other relevant degree desired, or equivalent education and/or related work experience required

Experience Qualifications

  • Typically 5+ years of prior relevant audit experience, preferably including SOX ITGCs and IT audits (ITGC, cybersecurity, data privacy, system implementation and security risk management, DB, etc.) required
  • Typically 2+ years experience in public accounting required
  • Experience as an in-charge auditor required

Skills and Abilities

  • Solid understanding of internal auditing standards, Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICFR), Committee of Sponsoring Organization (COSO), Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT) and risk assessment practices (Intermediate proficiency)

PURPOSE:
The Web Editor responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing content updating or editing for the extranet and other digital projects; effectively managing updates to achieve business goals and priorities; and proficiently and succinctly ensuring updates/edits are made in adherence to documented guidelines and expertise. There is an emphasis on managing content projects and keeping business owners informed of the progress of requested updates. Primary day-to-day activities include implementing updates, validating the look and feel, editing content within the content management system and sending system notifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Performs web edits (which include basic HTML) to ensure proper location, look, feel and functionality of web or digital content. Posts stakeholder documents to the site and sends all required customer notifications. Implements requested updates to widgets and pages and creates and publishes new pages or site sections. Reviews content with an eye for quality to ensure it follows content standards and Style Guide, writing style, grammar, punctuation and spelling. Ensure postings are accurate and implemented with high quality. Monitors web writing for consistency across pages on web/digital media. Ensures proper META data tagging is done on content to optimize internal website search. Ensures search engine optimization and 508 compliance guidelines are followed when making content edits. Works with customers throughout the organization to capture goals and needed revisions or new site pages/sections.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining all SOPs and instructional manuals for functional area, trains customer and stakeholders and others on processes and workflows.
  • Works with developers and provides input into technical workflows and processes. Immediately escalates issues and concerns with the workflow or CMS to the development team to ensure there is no customer-facing disruption and impact, particularly to contractual requirements.
  • Provides guidance, prioritization and motivation to others in order to meet work fluctuations and time sensitive deadlines in the delivery process. Occasional work outside of regular business hours is required to meet mandatory contractual deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Writing or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

Preferred Qualifications: One year experience in web editing, web content management, writing.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Previous web content management and proofreading and editing web content experience.
  • General knowledge of web usability and functionality.
  • Basic knowledge in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

As such, our various customers and partners – consumers, travel suppliers, and advertisers – expect the highest quality product which meets their various objectives. The Growth team needs a Sr. Product Designer who is experienced, driven, data-driven, and endlessly curious to understand and deliver on the needs of these various constituents and create high-quality end-solutions which help meet customer and business objectives through seamless and cohesive UX.

This Sr. Product Designer will work across three product development teams within Growth working on very different problems for different customers. These three teams are:

Retention & Loyalty: How can we keep and add more value to our millions of travelers? Where can we make their travel booking experience better, and implement ways to make Hopper their always go-to booking platform?

App Experience: How can we improve several parts of the core user journey – onboarding, the trips hub, and more – to better meet customer and business objectives?

Ads: How can we design ad experiences which surface relevant content for users while meeting advertiser objectives?

Responsibilities

  • Deliver solutions with a focus on a great user experience while balancing company goals, design cohesion, and ease of implementation
  • Own end-to-end user journey and all aspects of design execution from ideation to prototyping to usability tests to final product
  • Seek out, understand, incorporate and communicate qualitative and quantitative feedback throughout the design process leveraging surveys, user testing and user data to measure feature performance in app
  • Work autonomously across several cross-functional product development groups with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Scientists to prioritize and build new features
  • Communicate proactively and manage your time really well to meet the objectives of several different roadmaps for different customer and partner segments
  • Have a deep understanding of user needs and business objectives in your agile group’s product area
  • Prioritize appropriately: use good judgment to make appropriate tradeoffs to speed up product learning and balance competing priorities

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing and shipping cross platform (iOS and Android) consumer-focused products and working with product development teams
  • Experience with Figma and prototyping tools
  • Proven record of designing completely new experiences and end-to-end features
  • Ability to own design process end-to-end, from concept to smoke tests to full implementations, including a basic analysis of success measurement with minimal guidance and ambiguity
  • History of leading discovery and ideation and aligning the group around a vision and approach
  • Demonstrated experience in visual design, interactive design and prototyping
  • Portfolio showcasing your past work and design process

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience as a Lead Product Designer is a bonus
