Position Title & Overview:

The User Experience team is seeking a junior Product Designer to join our team of four in shaping new and existing Mediavine products. This role reports to the Director of User Experience and works closely with the other Product Designers and Product Managers.

We’re looking for someone who can help us expand our Grow product and partner with our product designers to complete projects both big and small.

This role will also have the opportunity to jump into other projects as well such as designing marketing landing pages, contributing to our design system, adding features to existing products, and more.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Creating wireframes and UIs in Figma
  • Working collaboratively with other designers to complete projects together
  • Managing workload and delivering high-quality work on-time
  • Participating in Peer Review Critiques and giving feedback to the team
  • Iterating often on UI designs to incorporate feedback and product requirements
  • Ideating in the early phases of a project to explore different design directions
  • Writing comprehensive behavioral specs for engineering teams to accompany hi-fidelity designs
  • Meeting with Product Managers and stakeholders to understand product requirements and share designs

You Have:

  • 1+ years of experience working in Product Design
  • Experience presenting designs to stakeholders
  • Knowledge of prototyping and utilizes Auto Layout to design flexible layouts

Nice to haves:

  • Expertise in creating Figma animations and advanced prototyping

WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are looking for a creative and analytical UX Designer, who enjoys challenging and multifaceted responsibilities. In this role, you will be conducting user research and testing, developing wireframes and workflows based on user needs, designing solutions for web applications, ultimately creating an intuitive and enjoyable experience when using Viant’s products.

THE DAY-TO-DAY

  • Create sitemaps, workflows, interaction models, wireframes, high resolution mocks, and interactive prototypes to test proposals, select and communicate solutions with product team and engineers.
  • Create frameworks and artifacts that aid Product and Engineering in understanding Design
  • Lead Product Management and Engineering in obtaining analytics solutions and resultant data for decision-making. Mine this data to inform design and identify areas of improvement.
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback.
  • Identify UI and UX problems, generate and test hypotheses, provide innovative solutions to the product direction, visuals and experience.
  • Present designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
  • Manage queue of proactive tasks against queue of requests from others, set expectations of delivery for both, and communicate changes from plan.
  • Implement and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards.

GREAT TO HAVE

  • 2+ years of experience as a UX designer
  • Knowledge and application of UX principles and methods: User-centered design, process-centered design, tasks and needs analysis.
  • Experience with application design, interaction design, information design, information architecture, infographics, data presentation/visualization, and typography.

Your role as a Solutions Architect on the Commercial team is to help prospects understand the value that dbt Cloud will provide to their organization. You are a good fit if you have:

  • 3+ years of sales engineering, solutions architecture, or as a data practitioner
  • A solid technical background, with a firm understanding of modern data warehousing architectures, the modern data stack, and SQL proficient
  • Worked asynchronously as part of a fully-remote, distributed team
  • High degree of comfort presenting to various stakeholders or audience, ideally with experience in an externally facing role
  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment and think on your feet when engaged in customer conversations
  • Desire to be part of a team, both as an active member of the SA team as we continue to evolve and improve how we work, and in your day-to-day work with Account Executives as part of a deal team

About the Infrastructure Team:

The Infrastructure team at dbt Labs works to expand our platform capabilities and features. The team improves reliability and accessibility for Enterprise customers. Internally, the Infra team supports developers as they bring novel features to production.

We’re looking for an experienced Azure Infrastructure Engineer to help us build out critical infrastructure components that enable our product engineering teams to build and deploy solutions. Particularly, we need to achieve parity with our existing offerings hosted in AWS. This will help better support current SaaS clients in our Azure environment.

You’ll be joining a talented team of infrastructure engineers whose primary cloud has been AWS with some Azure experience – ideally you’d be an Azure-first infrastructure engineer excited to help other folks create and support infrastructure in Azure. You have a strong sense of Azure best practices and are familiar with major Azure services and their limitations.

  • Drive strategic scaling and automation initiatives across Azure and AWS

Position Summary

In case we’ve never met before, we’re WebMechanix – an award-winning digital marketing agency based in Columbia, MD. We run high-impact performance marketing programs for over 65+ clients and frequently offer additional creative and development services as well.

We are looking for an experienced Freelance UX Designer who can support our in-house Creative Team with strong B2B experience to support redesign projects. Initially, we are looking for someone to take on 1-2 projects for roughly six weeks at about 20 hours per week. This may change over time and could lead to ongoing project work if interested.

In this role, you’ll lead UX design for redesign projects, including conducting stakeholder interviews and other light research activities to understand the customer and their tasks.

Your IA will be the strong foundation on which our designs and development will be built.

You will work alongside a larger creative team and will likely be involved in advising in an accessibility role, aid in translating wireframes for designers, and defending UX principles interacting with developers, designers and content creators.

Here’s what you’ll be doing

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, heuristic analysis, and other light research activities to support our understanding of the end-user
  • Create user stories and IA that leverage usability best practices to improve UX
