As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Technical leadership on the Applications Development (AppDev) team.
  • Ownership of technical components of the platform, including improving their operational health.
  • Designing and building full-stack software, including greenfield projects or features.
  • Data modeling and processing at scale.
  • Improving the performance and scalability of our platform.
  • Pragmatic technical decision-making to ensure we’re delivering high quality software as quickly as possible.
  • Incremental improvements and simplifications to our platform’s architecture to improve development velocity, scalability, and deployment flexibility.
  • Collaboratively working with QA engineers to ensure proper test coverage and high quality releases.
  • Collaborating with the Product team to ensure features are delivered as expected by our customers

  • Working experience with Python (or a similar language with the ability to learn quickly!)

  • Ability to mentor and advise less experienced engineers.

As a Senior Product Designer at Quorum, you’ll be responsible for the strategy, development and usability of multiple Quorum products through the entire product design life cycle (user research, personas, design system implementation, execution, and more). You will solve complex and real-world problems as you collaborate with other designers, leadership, and cross-functional partners. You will ensure the product is valuable and easy to use for people. What You’ll Do

  • Independently drive, plan, strategize, research, prototype, wireframe, create mock-ups from concept to delivery, QA and test the builds, and support developers in the development workflow to launch a set of features, products, and/or services.
  • Mentor and Support the Design Team. While this role is an individual contributor role, you will lead, mentor, and support other designers and product team members.
  • Improve UX quality issues across desktop and mobile platforms. conduct research, both qualitative and quantitative, to identify problematic areas and opportunities, propose solutions, and lead the implementation process for improvements from initiation to launch and impact measurement.
  • Improve and expand the Design System. Update Quorum’s products onto the new Design System. Advocate the use and adoption of the design system. Educate cross-functional team members on how to use the Design System, as well as drive for consistency and alignment within the team.
  • Work closely with developers and product management.
  • Demonstrate ability to be generative with design explorations, with diverse perspectives on ideas.

Required Qualifications

  • You have at least five (5) years of full-time professional experience working in digital product design (e.g., UX/UI Designer, Product Designer) at a software company or design agency where software product design is a core function.
  • You have a strong, up-to-date online professional portfolio showcasing at least three (3) case studies demonstrating human-centered design approach, as well as interaction design and visual design skills.
  • You are proficient in creating and/or using a Design System for product development.
  • You have strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • You mentor other Designers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • You are excited about driving core usability improvements to products and can speak to situations where you’ve utilized data and user research to improve products.
  • You are a strong user advocate, and take pride in designing well-crafted and delightful products.

An overview of this role

About the role

The Seller Engineering team is building new experiences for homeowners looking to sell their home. As a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will act as both the glue and the grease between our Product Management, Engineering & Design teams. You will manage the lifecycle and execution of some of our largest and most critical initiatives across the organization. You will facilitate cross-team collaboration, cross-functional communication, and engineering efficiency. You will be a strategic partner to the Seller leadership team, expected to challenge our thinking while supporting execution.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
