Job Summary

This position is responsible for assisting with the development, production, and project management of internal and external printed materials to support RFP proposals and executive summaries. Under moderate direction, you will work on complex assignments requiring a high level of creativity and client focus. Projects require flexibility, professional demeanor, and urgency, while dealing with ambiguity and rapidly shifting deadlines. Position is expected to have a strong grasp on knowledge revolving around layout, printing, publishing, technical editing, and graphic design. Experience in proposal development is not required, but a plus.

This role is remote and can be located nationally in most states (we cannot consider applicants living in or plan on working out of CA, NY, Alaska, or Hawaii)

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degreein fine arts or science, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or English and 6 years’ experience as a Graphic Designer in a studio, agency, corporation, OR 9 years applicable design, layout, print production, and MAC experience.
  • Ability to create a high-end design in an agency or corporate environment.
  • Project management skills.
  • Proficiency on a Microsoft platform a MUST; software applications include Quark Xpress, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Acrobat.  PC knowledge is a plus.
  • Knowledge of four-color printing and specialty printing.
  • Ability to understand the context (determine appropriate use of graphics for audience).

The website coordinator works in conjunction with other website team members to manage the major functions of the website’s backend and frontend.
