At the heart of our work here at Automox is to raise the world’s security confidence. We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to support the growth of our feature teams. We provide value primarily to internal Automox teams so that they can build products for our customers.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- You have experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform.
- You can design and build scalable, secure, and reliable systems and applications using best-in-class technologies and platforms
- You have a passion for identifying security risks and evangelizing best practices across the team
- You will leverage your engineering skills to dive into and prevent scaling or stability bottlenecks of our platform services
- You have the experience to develop tools to make all of Engineering more productive
- Instrument, automate, and load test Automoxs distributed, highly available products and services on AWS and Kubernetes.
- Partner with Automox’s engineering teams to identify and instrument SLOs, and ultimately meet or exceed SLAs for Automoxs customers
- You take what you do seriously, but you do not take yourself seriously.
THE MUST HAVES
- 2+ years experience working with regulated computing environments that are FedRAMP compliant.
- Strong understanding of the FedRAMP framework, its controls, and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with security best practices, vulnerability management, and incident response processes
- Excellent communication skills allowing you to be successful in our fully remote, US-based/work-from-home position
- You must be a US Citizen working on US soil to be considered
- Demonstrated track record of maintaining and building large scale systems.
- 6+ years SRE, Production or Systems Engineering experience
- Experience with AWS products, including Aurora Database and App Mesh.
- Strong in at least one of these languages Go, Elixir, Python, or Ruby
- Proficient in scripting and deployment automation using Jenkins, Github Actions, ArgoCD, or similar.
- Strong focus on security using tools such as Datadog, Cloudflare, Kyverno, and Vault
- Infrastructure and application instrumentation; defining and instrumenting SLOs and SLAs
- Experience with systems such as Kubernetes (EKS & KOPS), Docker, and Kafka

Live Technical Launch Manager
Netflix has been changing how people watch shows and movies, enabling seamless on-demand access across a wide variety of streaming devices, from set-top-boxes to mobile devices to TVs . As Technical Launch Manager, you will be responsible for cross-functional coordination of the assigned Live show, partnering closely with all the Engineering teams in the critical path of Live, and stakeholders in Product, Production and Marketing.
Before the event, you will ensure that all partners are aligned on team responsibilities and show-specific features (broadcast technology, localization and accessibility requirements, social and marking needs, member-facing features,and follow-up on execution. You will lead readiness reviews and assess risks and help drive them to resolution. You will schedule, coordinate and document pre-event testing and validation. You will plan for and coordinate the day-of-event launch (virtual) room presence and on-calls.
During the event, you will act as the call leader and manage communication across different teams. You will perform hands-on execution of operational steps if needed. You will track issues and coordinate escalations with incident managers and relevant service owners.
After the event, you will compile operations summaries and coordinate retrospectives.
About You
- Experience. You have experience in coordinating and operating live shows in the streaming domain. You have worked closely with engineers (as a project manager or technical program manager or operations engineer, etc). You have handled incidents in the context of live streaming.

The opportunity
As the Director of Faculty Team Lead Operations, you will report to the Assistant Vice President of the Center for Online Learning and Teaching (COLT). You’ll provide support and consistent, accurate performance evaluations to faculty through their work with our Faculty Team Leads. The primary responsibility of your role is to manage a team of Team Lead Training and Development Facilitators, and a Program Manager, offering support, and partnering on a variety of issues as they support the performance of 200+ team leads.
