About the role:

Samsara’s Quality Engineering (QE) team uses test engineering and data analysis skills to drive product quality so that our customers can realize the full benefits of our platform. In addition to testing the product, the QE team seeks to cultivate a quality culture that produces best-in-class product reliability, usability, and performance across all of our product development teams.

We’re looking for an experienced firmware quality engineer for our Dashcam products for the safety products group, which includes a camera, recording video, performing AI analysis, and streaming.

This role is open to candidates residing in Canada or the US except the San Francisco Bay Area (125 mi. radius from 1 De Haro St, San Francisco) and NYC Metro Area (50 mi. radius from 131 W 55th St, New York)

In this role, you will:

  • Work in close collaboration with Development and Product teams, to define quality goals, expand test coverage, and ensure rapid delivery of high-quality products to our customers
  • Work closely with firmware engineers to understand architecture, break it into functional parts, and come up with a plan to test, validate, and identify issues
  • Rapidly diagnose issues and perform root cause analysis with firmware, backend, and full-stack developers
  • Actively champion a culture of quality by analyzing product quality data and deriving/delivering actionable product quality insights to product development teams
  • Create and maintain comprehensive and effective test suites
  • Run systems-level manual and automated in-house acceptance tests and real-world driving tests to detect defects and regressions in our cloud application and devices.

Minimum requirements for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in a quality engineering function
  • Strong technical understanding of embedded + distributed systems
  • Proficiency with scripting languages: Python
  • Working experience with automated test environments and manual test beds
  • Proven abilities for effective low-level troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
  • Experience building and/or working with automated testing frameworks
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable working with teams from diverse backgrounds

An ideal candidate also has:

  • 3+ years of experience in embedded systems testing (Camera Safety products preferred)
  • Proficiency with querying languages like SQL
  • Proficiency with Streaming protocols including HLS/RTSP/DASH/WebRTC

Lume Deodorant’s highly skilled and experienced Prepress Technician plays a pivotal role within the Creative team. As a key member of the Print Team, they serve as a crucial part in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our packaging materials and in-store marketing displays. This team member is essential in ensuring the successful release of final artwork for in-store marketing displays and packaging artwork for both the Lume and Mando brands. They are responsible for creating print-ready files, approving proofs, troubleshooting printing issues, and assisting in ensuring color fidelity to maintain brand consistency. Additionally, they facilitate efficient collaboration between internal and external stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Print Production

  • Collaborate with the designers to develop and finalize packaging and in-store marketing displays.
  • Perform prepress preparation of digital files for printing, ensuring they meet the required specifications from suppliers for quality and accuracy.
  • Develop and release final print-ready artwork for in-store marketing displays and packaging artwork, adhering to brand guidelines and standards.
  • Ensure that packaging designs meet all regulatory and brand guidelines.
  • Proof digital and physical artwork from suppliers for accuracy and consistency.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks on printed materials to identify and resolve any issues or inconsistencies.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Graphic Designer is a manager level position, responsible for maintaining, developing, and improving all visual aspects of the Family Reach brand. This role requires graphic design skills that span digital and printed materials, as well as basic web skills to maintain the Family Reach website and monitor the user journey for all audiences.

Reporting to the Director of Content & Storytelling, the Graphic Designer will work closely with the Content & Storytelling team to support the organizations messaging and ensure brand consistency across designed materials.
