About the Role

As the Global Deployment Infrastructure Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing a team of professionals who design, manage and coordinate the installation of Megaport infrastructure into Data Centres to meet strategic objectives. You will oversee and develop internal project documentation for cross-functional teams and champion process improvements with the Infrastructure team. You will be responsible for Project status updates, weekly, monthly and quarterly as well as the establishment and management of internal team reporting.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Identify, plan and execute internal Team process improvements
  • Coordinate workflows and allocation of resources for cross-functional projects
  • Develop process documentation for cross-team handovers.
  • Update project information systems – Confluence, Jira, Intranet and key systems.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to internal teams
  • Attend daily project meetings with our global teams.
  • Chair Project meetings.
  • Provide weekly status reports
  • Provide ad hoc, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting that outlines the Design and Implementation teams’ successes.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for projects.

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience leading or managing and team.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks to team members.
  • Experienced working with third parties, vendors and customers to achieve strategic outcomes
  • Have the ability to take initiative and work effectively in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Knowledge of Data Center deployments, standards and technical requirements
  • JIRA and Confluence experience (ideal).
  • Visio / Lucidchart experience is necessary.
  • Rack and Network design experience highly regarded.
  • Working knowledge of Optical Networks.
  • Excellent working knowledge of AGILE – Scrum or similar methodologies.

As a Producer on the Oculus Publishing team focused on design, you will work with the Meta producers and external game developers to ensure our catalog of games fully delivers on their requirements for game design. In working with developers, you will help define features, advise on systems and VR mechanics, and help scope and schedule the work on features for external teams.
