The Technical Editor/Graphic Designer supports a federal agency’s internal and external communication workflows and the production and posting of federal reports, fact sheets, and other documents. This role is crucial for ensuring accuracy, clarity and visual appeal for materials and web content. The Technical Editor/Graphic Designer ensures adherence with Section 508 accessibility standards and provides design, layout, and branding to agency publications.

Duties include:

  • Reviewing and proofreading content for grammar, punctuation, and style, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
  • Ensuring terms and concepts are accurately presented and easily understood by different target audiences.
  • Maintaining high-level of attention to detail to ensure error-free publications.

HOW A HUMAN FACTORS ENGINEER ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Expertise in user research methodologies, user-centered design principles and frameworks, and user interface design standards

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Our Principal/Senior Consultant – IT Data/Systems Management – EHS/ESG position is fully-remote. [Internally-facing title: Principal IT Data Management Analyst.]

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic leaders (and ideally seller-doers) with the ability to work from home full-time and with remote colleagues and clients on system planning, setup, and support projects. You will plan and design projects with clients and senior consultants, and you will establish frameworks for you and team members to execute against. With a project manager, you will be responsible for completing projects according to purpose, plan, schedule, and budget.

The job involves applying strong project delivery skills with subject matter expertise in commercial off-the-shelf systems and EHS & ESG. You will be responsible for the technical leadership, architecture/design, review, and hands-on execution of EHS&S IT projects.

This position is within our EHS&S Management Information Solutions Team, which provides quality work, responds quickly and works effectively with supportive teams. This business line focuses solely on the strategy, selection, setup, and support of leading ESG/EHS information management systems to help our customers manage compliance, risk, and return value. This includes air emissions, greenhouse gas, sustainability (ESG), permit tracking, incident management, inspections, audits, observations, occupational health, control of work, etc.

As a key member of the EHS&S Management Information Solutions team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:

  • Manage various EHS&S information management software applications and associated content (compliance tasks, operating data, audit/inspection checklists, ESG frameworks, etc.) .
  • Architect and lead systems/reports that require reliable math and logic skills that will be applied to emissions calculations, validation, and analysis.
  • Facilitate gathering of business requirements and translating them into easy-to-understand specifications used to setup COTS (commercial off the shelf software). This includes helping clients build an Inventory Management Plans (air emissions and more) after helping define a vision, boundaries, materiality, and data availability.
  • Evaluate AS-IS processes, identify areas for improvement, develop TO-BE requirements and document gaps.
  • Think critically about operational efficiency and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Translate business requirements to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Create and/or review design specifications, test scripts and training guides.
  • Create project plans and define action items.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Manager or Senior Manager, the Clinical Data Lead is an integral part of the account team as the subject matter expert, ensuring partner satisfaction through management of all data integrity and quality tasks including new team member orientation, pre-submission cleaning of cases, validation of abstractor accuracy through case reviews, and completion of Specific Element Review process.
