Responsible for formulating new software verification and validation research projects – from starting with a concept, to formulating a pre-development plan and completing a feasibility study to executing and implementing software projects and solving hard to diagnose problems.  Duties include:

  • Build the Korus product and its reporting module with Business Objects Development using Business Objects XI3.1, 4.2 and higher versions.
  • Analyze and Plan migration of the existing BI suite to new upgraded BOBJ platform.
  • Design Complex universes and develop reports in Web Intelligence (WebI) and Crystal Reports.

  • Create and unit test reports for new and existing BI systems this includes the implementation of any ad-hoc reporting tool solutions.

Requirements:

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering or a closely related field and 3 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer.  Must have 3 years of experience (which can have been gained concurrently with the primary experience requirements above) working with the following:

  • SAP Business Objects, Power BI Reports, Crystal Reports and Dashboards, leading report migration from SAP Business Objects to Power BI, and new report/dashboard development;
  • Oracle 11g and Microsoft SQL Server;
  • BO Java SDK Integrations to front-line inhouse applications;
  • Power BI REST APIs for embedded analytics and automation;
  • Exercising Data Warehouse Concepts through Universe/BI Designer; and

Position Overview 

The Study Activation & Readiness Specialist will support study, site & staff readiness to ensure FPI is achieved at site level for assigned trials for both the traditional and decentralized site models. They are responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and supporting start up activities. They are also responsible for ensuring any new staff added to sites have appropriate readiness tasks to work on the study.
