JOB DESCRIPTION / FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will include but not be limited to the following activities:
⦁ Provide graphics to enhance briefings in support of the Chief Data Officer and Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer.
⦁ Collaborate with customer and other team members to conceptualize and execute design ideas.
⦁ Create original artwork for digital image processing.
⦁ Edit multimedia content based on user feedback.
⦁ Establish communication plans and methods of communication using SharePoint, videos, newsletters, and official notices for general audiences.
⦁ Support the Communication Specialist by developing graphics, charts , diagrams, and other materials to simplify complex data for general audience.
⦁ Utilize SharePoint and Teams for storage of materials and communication paths.
⦁ Manage, edit and proof content for various multimedia platforms.
⦁ Maintain collaboration tools such as SharePoint sites, Microsoft Teams channels, libraries, task lists, workflows, and permissions to meet organizational requirements.
⦁ Provide content management support, including organizing, categorizing, and managing content within Microsoft Suite.
⦁ Design and layout eye-catching graphics, images, and icons to enhance the visual appeal of the website and social media profiles.
⦁ Ensure that web content is accessible, Section 508-compliant, adheres to best practices, and complies with U.S. Web Design Standards.
⦁ Continuously update and improve the internal (OneNASA) and external (NASA.gov) website designs based on user feedback and evolving design trends.

EDUCATION AND PREVIOUS WORK REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum education – BA/BS in Communications, Mass Communications, Electronic Media, Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
