So, what’s the role?

We are looking for a Technical Review Specialist with first-party property claims experience to join our growing team! In this role, you can expect to oversee staff and vendor estimate quality by completing estimate reviews based on company guidelines. You will have the opportunity to lend a hand to design and develop reinspection programs alongside reviewing all aspects of claim handling, including complex coverage decisions. Communicating re-inspection results to appropriate parties along with analyzing data will be a crucial part of this role. Additionally, you will have the chance to give professional presentations, provide departmental training, and exhibit your strong knowledge of Florida insurance laws.

A day in the life could include:

Reviewing estimates for accuracy per company guidelines, code requirements and accepted general construction and mitigation practices
Completing QA reviews of peer work: research/consultation, elevating issues to management and/or support teams, and providing appropriate feedback to peers
Serving as a departmental subject matter expert in area of expertise, consulting with peers, researching complex issues, and providing coaching as needed
Overseeing the design, development, and ongoing modification of reinspection programs
Identifying opportunity areas and participating in the improvement of processes and tools
Analyzing data from re-inspections and identifying trends to recommend improvements in performance and/or processes
I’ve got the skills… but do I have the necessary ones?

3+ years of first-party residential property claims adjusting experience
2+ years estimating experience (Xactimate (X1) platform preferred)
Experience working directly for an insurance carrier
Well-rounded understanding of residential construction, roofing, mitigation, remediation and repair techniques
Ability to collaborate with inside and outside council and leadership staff
Comprehensive knowledge of Florida insurance laws and good faith claims handling experience focusing on structures/dwellings
Strong technical acumen (Excel, Snapsheet, Slack, CRM systems)
Customer service ability; you’ve worked closely with others and can see individuals through tough situations

8+ years of solid hands-on experience developing on the Salesforce platform including Apex, Visualforce, API (REST/SOAP), workflows, approval processes, triggers, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, web services, SOQL & Data Loader.
Minimum of Platform Developer I certification, other certifications desirable.
Experience integrating Salesforce.com with enterprise-level applications though all available integration channels as well as Salesforce-to-Salesforce integrations.
The ability to understand when a no code or low code solution is preferrable.
Wide experience building SalesForce solutions through configuration.
Strong relational database design/development skills.
