About The Job
We are seeking a UX Designer for the world’s largest online retailer and a prominent cloud service provider. They will join a group of designers focusing on core video player controls across all supported devices. This individual should be able to manage multiple projects across program areas and build effective relationships with partner teams ranging from UX Design and research within our own studio to Product, Engineering, and Business teams across the org.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and balance the needs of the millions of end customers against your internal customers – the developers, PMs, and more that make use of the system.
- Influence the vision, strategy, and roadmap of the system.
- Create user-centered design solutions, utilizing and contributing to an established design system.
- Present design work to the user experience team, product team, and project stakeholders for review and feedback.
- Collaborate with teams to help them design experiences: provide feedback on designs though various stages of completeness, suggest appropriate solutions from the design system, investigate requests for new solutions.
- Create documentation and design specs for delivery to engineering partners.
- Contribute to a greater playback vision.
Additional Key Responsibilities:
- Creating end-to-end design solutions for the PVUX Playback Experience group, based on collaboration with our business and tech partners, and based on customer research and performance metrics.
- Analyze user interface problems to create on-brand design solutions that meet measurable business goals and requirements and work closely with the business team to develop use cases and high-level CX requirements.
- Work closely with our Design Systems group and A11y partners to create accessible designs.
- Create user flows, wireframes, visual designs and prototypes as needed to effectively conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors and to effectively communicate design solutions to PV leadership.
- Determine areas for research and testing and work closely with our research partners to execute against these needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of design experience
- An available online portfolio
- Experience designing interfaces for web and mobile
- Proficiency in Figma and delivering high fidelity design specs and/or prototypes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with a design system or creating and contributing a design system
- Experience designing interfaces for living room devices
- Familiarity with good A11y design principles and WCAG guidelines
- Experience interpreting designs across a broad range of device surfaces and interaction patterns
- Experience designing video and/or audio player controls and in-playback features
- Experience with voice activated controls and interactions

The ideal candidate has experience with leading and executing programs that define and measure talent, enable talent and employee engagement, and develop team members in a customer-centric approach that drives business impact. This role leads a team and supports the business collaborating with various business partners to implement new projects as well as improve upon cyclical projects already rolled out. This role will play a large part in ensuring continual success of ServiceTitan’s Talent Management projects.
What you’ll do:
- In conjunction with Sr. Director, Talent Management and their team, this role will lead strategy and execution of organization-wide talent programs at ServiceTitan. The expectation is that the incumbent of this role refines and improves current processes.
- The scope of this role includes the entire employee lifecycle- from interviewer training to onboarding, goal setting, performance through exit of employees. The goal of a program manager leading across the employee lifecycle is to create a consistent employee experience and overall aligned approach to all programs rolled out across ServiceTitan.
- Drive the execution of new programs (succession planning, goal setting, job architecture) to be executed in Talent Management. New programs include initiatives that have not been rolled out effectively or are being created for the first time.
- Lead philosophy, roadmap and execution of Performance Review process at ServiceTitan. This includes stakeholder alignment, resource refinement, training, change management and continuous iteration to improve process as well as evaluate new and cutting edge ways of evaluating employee performance.
- Manage a team and act as a primary point of contact for existing programs and initiativesthis includes meetings with program leaders and their respective employees and problem solving any issues or concerns with customers, stakeholders or business partners.
- Scope of project management includes project planning, collaborating with business partners, creating resources to support projects, leading organization-wide communication plans, rolling out said projects and completing retrospectives to gather feedback from customers on how to improve.
- Partner with other departments within Talent Management and the greater HR organization to request deliverables needed to properly execute company-wide programs.
- Create training for execution and bring along stakeholders on project execution, timing and other relevant details. At times training will need to be created for HR Business partners with accompanying facilitator guides and train the trainer sessions. Other times the incumbent of this role will directly train the business.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Manager, Talent Management to gather feedback on programs, understand business needs and successfully execute. Oftentimes HR Business Partners will act as stewards of the programs and the incumbent of this role will need to be able to build relationships with and influence HR leaders up to CPO.
- Lead any change management aspects of existing projects and support Manager, Talent Management in any new initiative change management, as necessary.
- Partner with Sr. Director, Talent Management on determining SLAs for new projects based on current workload, scope of project, other business initiatives and capacity.
- Perform other projects or miscellaneous duties as requested or assigned, at times with minimal notice.
What you’ll bring:
