Title: Senior Manager, Brand Design

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Brand Design to join our design leadership team. Your role will extend beyond shaping our visual language and brand; you will also contribute to the development of our team members and influence the approaches we take in our design practices. You’ll foster creativity and collaboration to help elevate our craft and expand our concepts. You will also partner with marketers, writers, operations and product managers to breathe life into marketing campaigns and ensure a cohesive and unified brand system. As a member of our Brand Studio team you’ll be instrumental in helping shape a world-class brand. About the Role

- Our cash compensation amount for this role ranges from $166,000 – $228,000 for most US locations and $184,000 – $253,000 for US locations with a higher cost of labor. All figures cited above are in $USD and pertain to workers located in the United States. Pay is based on several factors including market location, and may vary depending on job related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.
As a Senior Manager, Brand Design on the team, you’ll:
- Develop cohesive yet flexible creative strategies that can translate across various channels and mediums
- Conceptualize and develop creative concepts alongside your team for integrated brand/advertising campaigns
- Encourage the team to push new thinking and expand interpretations of the brand expression to meet changing company needs
- Ideate and drive creative work that effectively communicates the brand’s message
- Collaborate with marketing team members, copywriters, operations, education and content team to bring everything from an ebook launch, product announcement, or brand campaign to life
- Partner closely with with marketing team on projects from brief development through aligned feedback and proactive updates achieve our shared goals
- Effectively allocate resources and manage workloads to maximize team productivity and work/life balance
- Collaborate with design leadership to evolve processes, tools and systems to ensure the creation of consistent and innovative work
- Align design initiatives with the broader business strategy and goals
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members for career development and growth
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture where members make each other better

About you
You’ll thrive as a Senior Manager, Brand Design if you:
- Have 10+ years in brand design with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in brand design and campaign work
- Have 3+ years directly managing designers, focusing on mentorship and growth
- Lead with empathy, vision and team engagement
- Demonstrate systematic and strategic design thinking to create thoughtful and impactful brand campaign work
- Think outside the box, generate original ideas, and approach challenges with creativity
- Encourage new thinking and brand expression interpretations
