We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of Corporate Events to join our Communications and Brand team. This role will report to the Vice President of Brand and Communications, and is pivotal in leading the planning, production, and execution of Drata’s digital and in-person event, Drataverse. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker, an excellent communicator, logistical savant and a problem-solver who is adept at managing complex projects and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

What you’ll do:

  • Event Strategy, Planning and Execution: Lead the end-to-end process of our major digital and in-person events, including our 500+ person user conference. This includes conceptualizing event themes, attendee experiences, collaborating and coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring seamless execution.
  • Logistics Management: Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, contract negotiations, catering, AV setup, transportation, and ancillary events. Ensure all elements align with the event’s objectives and company standards.
  • Attendee Experience: Enhance the attendee experience through effective communication strategies, registration processes, and on-site engagement. Ensure a memorable and seamless experience for all participants.
  • Project Management: Develop detailed project plans, budgets, processes, attendee communications and timelines. Manage deliverables and keep projects on track.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead and organize cross-functional workstreams, facilitating collaboration, ensuring timely follow up and assisting in resolving any challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Operational Management: Take charge of the day-to-day management of event budget management, operations and partnerships. Adapt and respond effectively to changes in the event landscape.
  • Innovation and Brand Alignment: Drive innovative thinking around pre / during / post event experiences including for each persona. Collaborate with the brand team to ensure consistency, engagement, and impactful results on a global scale. 
  • Leadership: Encourage and guide team members to bring forward innovative ideas and solutions, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor‘s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate event planning and management, preferably in a tech or startup environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully planning and executing large-scale, multi-day corporate events.
  • Experience in working with Digital Webinar platforms like Goldcast.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Expert budget management and experience in negotiating hotel, venue, talent and supplier contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability working with partners on sponsorship programs and fulfillment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for event planning and execution.

Requirements:

  • At least five years of experience managing events in a corporate environment

The SEO Copywriter is an individual contributor role inside the Creative Services Department, responsible for creating unique content for SEO clients based on strategic goals identified by SEO Specialists and Managed Service clients based on Managed Service requests. Copywriters work under the supervision of the Copy Supervisor, and in coordination with the SEO Specialists and Managed Service Specialists to fulfill client work month to month. Copywriters must be adept and proficient writers, who are able to quickly research and create search-optimized content that is useful to users and meets the length and time requirements of the department. Copywriters must be unafraid of tight deadlines and high workloads, writing and researching for between 7 and 12 pieces of content a day on average. 

Copywriters manage a heavy client load, making time management and the ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently critical to success in this role. While SEO copywriting experience isn’t required for this role as training is provided, critical thinking, time management, and being calm under pressure are traits that lead to success.

Duties:

Write a high volume of high-quality, organic search-optimized web content per month, adhering to strict quality guidelines within time requirements

Manage client production schedules independently to meet tight internal deadlines

Perform competitor and keyword research in order to write top-placing content

Collaborate with SEO Specialists and Managed Service Specialists to create content that meets client goals

Flawlessly edit content created by yourself and others

Work within website platforms to publish content

Follow and understand brand-specific compliance requirements

Contribute actively to department and company goals

Understand and implement SEO best practices in content production

Requirements (within 3 months of employment):

Active interest in organic search, search engines, and digital marketing and drive to stay abreast of industry news and updates

Ability to comfortably and successfully manage heavy client loads ( 7-9 pieces a day on average)

As a Digital Media Producer, you will be an expert at telling stories through videos, infographics, micrographics, eBooks, whitepapers, original photography, and more. 
 

You will have strong experience in delivering digital projects throughout the full production life-cycle and managing client expectations throughout the project.
 

You will be scoping, budgeting, and managing the client’s expectations through the Content Services Accounts team. You will also be responsible for the financial monitoring of projects, ensuring that projects are scoped accurately and that all projects are delivered on time within budget, and to the highest quality.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage content briefing and development, job projections, production scheduling, delivery, and resourcing for designated enhanced content projects.
  • Manage relationships with Skyword creatives — freelance photographers, designers, animators, developers and videographers during and outside of the production process.
  • Work with the Account Team during the discovery process to collect critical client requirements within the confines of creative strategy, branding and production costs.
  • Provide client-facing creative insight, knowledge and production forecasting during discovery process as needed.
  • Manage all logistical aspects of pre-to-post production work produced by Creatives in the Skyword network.
  • Notify the Account Team early of potential budget overages or shortfalls; ensure overages or additional budgets or investments are flagged and approved as needed, considering scalable solutions.
  • Review all work before delivery to client to ensure that the creative brief was addressed and the creative vision was maintained while enforcing the original scope for small to medium-budget projects.
  • Analyze, mediate and interpret client reviews of all work, take on next steps and follow up with the creative after the collective review has concluded.
  • Communicate status of projects and discuss creative feedback directly to and with client on as needed basis on behalf of Skyword Creatives and in conjunction with account teams.
  • Work with Account Teams on creative briefings and planning regarding new Skyword client creative projects
  • Operate as internal producer on new business or internal jobs that have no direct client team
  • Provide on-set support when applicable 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 4-6 years of production experience
  • Experience in developing and managing detailed project plans for digital and creative projects and marketing campaigns
  • Exemplary ability to quickly analyze project requests and to determine feasibility, required activities, and the appropriate resources required from a production perspective.
  • Solid experience creating, managing and publishing integrated content across multiple digital and social media platforms
  • Strong working knowledge of digital production and freelance talent hiring process
  • Working knowledge of production equipment and tools for different enhanced asset types (video and photography equipment, Adobe Suite, Final Cut, etc.)
  • Highly process, detail and QA oriented
  • Ability to influence and coordinate activities among cross-functional teams

Job Summary

This position is responsible for assisting with the development, production, and project management of internal and external printed materials to support RFP proposals and executive summaries. Under moderate direction, you will work on complex assignments requiring a high level of creativity and client focus. REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degreein fine arts or science, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or English and 6 years’ experience as a Graphic Designer in a studio, agency, corporation, OR 9 years applicable design, layout, print production, and MAC experience.
  • Ability to create a high-end design in an agency or corporate environment.
  • Project management skills.
