We are looking for an ASO Strategist for our central EverCommerce Global Demand team. This role will be supporting two Evercommerce mobile focused business solutions, Invoice Simple and Joist. Invoice Simple is the leading invoice app for contractors, freelancers, owner-operators, creatives, and other small business owners in any industry and in any country. Invoice Simple is the easiest way to invoice your customers and get paid. Joist is the #1 app built exclusively for contractors. Our easy-to-use mobile and web applications give home pros the ability to quickly create professional estimates and invoices, accept payments, and manage their projects from anywhere.
We are seeking a skilled and innovative ASO Strategist to join our dynamic team. The ASO Strategist will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize our mobile app’s visibility and performance on various app stores. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of app store algorithms, user behavior, and industry trends to drive organic growth and maximize app downloads and user engagement. Your goal will be to ensure that our apps appear at the top of search results and improve key metrics that drive conversions, such as TTR and CR. You will collaborate with the hiring manager and across different teams to optimize organic user acquisition through App Store meta-data tests and improvements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute an ASO strategy created by the hiring manager to improve app visibility, conversion rates, and organic downloads across multiple app stores.
- Monitor and track app stores and keyword rankings using the latest analytic tracking tools.
- Conduct keyword research to identify high-volume and relevant keywords for app store optimization.
- Conduct A/B tests and experiments to optimize app store listings and improve conversion rates.
- Collect and analyze data and results.
- Conduct competitive analysis, staying up to date on the competitive landscape and any changes to the storefronts that could affect rankings or search results.
- Create frameworks for measuring and reporting on ASO performance, and its impact on the user acquisition funnel and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and design to ensure ASO strategies align with overall business objectives.
- Analyze app performance metrics, including downloads, retention rates, and user feedback, to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Monitor and track app store algorithms and updates to adjust ASO strategies accordingly.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in mobile app marketing and ASO.
- Provide regular reporting and insights on ASO performance metrics and key initiatives to stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of competitor apps and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.
Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:
- 2+ years of experience in ASO and mobile app marketing, with a track record of successfully optimizing app store listings and driving organic downloads.
- Strong understanding of app store algorithms and ranking factors across platforms such as Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Proficiency in ASO tools and analytics platforms such as App Annie, AppFollow, AppTweak, or similar.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and user experience.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a passion for staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Experience with A/B testing methodologies and experimentation.

Qualifications

- Extensive hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services including IAM, IAM Identity Center, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and CloudTrail
