About This Position

We are seeking an Associate Project Manager to support the construction project management team in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role will report to a project manager and will assist cross-functional partners in Development, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, Legal, and Operations. The successful candidate must be an experienced multi-tasker with the ability to work on multiple (2-3) projects simultaneously. Our ideal candidate is team-oriented, proactive, and comfortable in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Weekly and monthly budget review and reporting including: forecast cash flows, invoice review, lien waiver review, actuals, accruals, forecasts
  • Review and monitor schedules from different parties to ensure they are fully aligned and track contractor milestones, updates or changes to the schedule
  • Read and understand construction and consulting contracts. Track owner, contractor, and 3rd party deliverables in the EPC contracts and land contracts.
  • Develop project trackers to manage the quality and commissioning process
  • Track delivery of owner supplied materials and ensure that the milestone payments and contractual notices are completed
  • Assist project finance team in compiling monthly documentation such as lien waivers, invoices, subordination agreements, estoppels, warranties and supporting documentation
  • Review PODs, weekly and monthly reports from the contractor and propose edits/corrections to the project manager and use these reports to generate monthly external progress reports with data on schedule and budget, coordinating across departments (project finance, development, legal)
  • Liaise with the owner’s engineer, manage the deliverables per the project schedule
  • Review invoices weekly with the project manager and approve or reject, verify classifications are correct. Communicate with vendors on corrections needed
  • Review and manage EPC engineering documents (IFP, IFC, RFI, submittals,transmittals, as builts) and ensure they are answered or cleared in a timely manner

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in solar or wind construction with a focus on project management, budget ownership, invoice tracking, and schedule monitoring
  • Worked for a project manager or equivalent on at least 2 solar or wind projects from start of construction to substantial completion
  • Advance knowledge of Excel, Google suite, Microsoft suite, Slack, Bluebeam and other collaboration tools
  • High attention to detail and standards for work products
  • Able to translate complex findings into powerpoint presentations
  • Has spent time working at project sites

Linguists will serve as subject matter experts and leverage Lao and their cultural expertise to curate and translate global media into English language products.

Essential Job Duties

  • Develop comprehensive understanding of Client interests and mission requirements, including areas of priority topical interest. Utilize knowledge to understand nuance of requirements and pivot research to topics or events of emerging interest.
  • Utilize Client knowledge to evaluate potential foreign language media sources (including traditional news outlets and social media), conduct topical research, synthesize and summarize findings, and provide sourced, written reports in English of those findings.
  • Adhere to Client style and translation standards to prepare all products.

Minimum Requirements

  • Subject matter expertise or education in international topics in climate change, climate security, global health, politics, leadership, culture, religion, international relations, economics, energy, counter proliferation, cyber threats, emerging technologies, counter narcotics, military, science and technology, counter terrorism, or media of a particular country or region.
  • Experience with open source research and support, product creation and dissemination, collection management and workflow support.

eCommerce Responsibilities:

  • General:
  • Create new products for getsunday.com determined by ecommerce/ops/physical product in our management system. Coordinate asset creation with content team and timing of launch with tech team.
  • Maintain and update current product content, copy and pricing as necessary, coordinating with content and tech teams.
  • Manage tasks on the team JIRA board, updating and completing in a timely manner.
  • Respond to relevant emails and messages regarding ecommerce functions.
  • QA website and subscription funnel weekly/bi-weekly to update product pages, taxonomy, and any other potential revenue and conversion impacts.
  • Promotions and Pricing:
  • Mark down and mark up current products as needed to align with marketing and merchandising promotions onsite.

  • Support the upload and optimization of product content on retailer websites, including product descriptions, images, and other marketing materials ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
  • WERCS Execution:
  • Manage WERCS submissions for product compliance, ensuring all documentation is submitted and approved to meet WERCS and retailer requirements
  • Data Accuracy and Maintenance:
  • Regularly audit retailer websites and provide updates to Account Managers addressing any discrepancies to product data, pricing, and promotional content proactively
