You will

What we offer our employees
The base pay provided for this position ranges from $103,870/year to $175,605/year depending on geographic market and assuming a full-time schedule. Actual base pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education or training, skills, and experience.

About the Role:
We’re looking for a SeniorSoftware Engineer (Fullstack) to be an integral member of a product driven team that builds software to support our farming and business initiatives. You will help us develop and improve our proprietary web application, known as The Farmer Toolbelt, as well as support our scaling needs as we enter a period of fast growth. We have a wide range of technical solutions to figure out and scale – including improved user experience, data visualizations, and lots of workflow optimization. These technology solutions will support business activities such as training farmers to grow food in our proprietary indoor farming system, exploring innovative ways to facilitate data collection to optimize growing conditions, and leveraging real-time data from our cloud-connected farms to proactively detect issues before they happen. This means being comfortable integrating existing apps, APIs, and services as well as developing new innovative solutions while prioritizing the end user experience. We have three campuses (Brooklyn, Grand Rapids, and Kenosha) and we are expanding rapidly to have a physical presence in many more cities in 2022, so our technology solutions have to scale appropriately.
You will:
- Create and iterate on full-stack web and IoT applications using a variety of technologies including but not limited to Ruby, Rails, Javascript, React, GraphQL, HTML/CSS, Bootstrap, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Raspberry Pi, Python, AWS IoT Greengrass.
- Develop internal tools and workflow automation to support Farming, Marketing, Biz Dev, and Finance teams.
- Identify and solve the most important technical and business problems as part of a very collaborative product team.
- Guide overall architecture of our software projects.
- Help scale the team, interview candidates, and mentor junior employees.
- Be open to the possibility of leading a team.
You have experience with:
- Have 5+ years of Full-Stack developer experience, ideally in a startup environment.
- System design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Data modeling and relational/non-relational databases.
- Continuous integration and automatic deployments.
- React or a similar front-end web framework.
- Object-oriented programming languages such as Ruby or Python.

The Opportunity
- Act as the program coordinator for the Vituity Cares Foundation Community Outreach Clinic Program and as the interface for the clinic locations to the Executive Director and VCF Leadership Board.
- Act as the front-line liaison for the volunteer team with Executive Director, VCF Leadership Board, VCF Advisory Board, and other VCF support team members.
- Provide executive support to the Executive Director and local clinic site management teams to meet program expectations.
- Provide support for all site financials to include, but not limited to, program partners, expense reimbursements, and other clinic financial needs.
- Act as the super user for all Vituity software applications.
- Ensure all aspects of recruiting and on-boarding are completed for new volunteers and clinic leads.

Required Experience and Competencies
- 2 years of experience in an office or healthcare setting required.

Brief Overview:
The Sr Manager, Strategic Operations, Government & Public Sector will play a critical role in establishing the scalable process and rigor to compliment the management and execution of our automated virtual health, behavioral health, and telemedicine programs across government entities with a focus on the Defense Health Agency and Veterans Health Administration.
The ideal candidate will have a clinical informatics background and an operational focus with the ability to inject a strategic mindset and the ability to think out of the box to develop, document, and lead the optimal process for Amwell platform implementation and sustainment supporting specific government programs. The Sr Manager, Strategic Operations Government & Public Sector will lead, develop, and execute the overall staffing and scalable implementation strategy for each emergent program and facilitate internal and external partner collaboration as needed to ensure clinical effectiveness and realized value aligned with agency and department objectives and requirements.
Important elements of the role include excellent client engagement skills with a focus on operational excellence, process optimization for technology deployment and driving platform growth, utilization, and value realization. Professional Project Management Skills (PMP a plus) are valuable when applied to the development of processes and documentation needed to scale to support a complex set of requirements and enterprise implementations.

Qualifications:
10+ years’ experience in government project/program management and execution.
Prior military experience preferred
Polished oral and written communications particularly the ability to develop and articulate compelling, value statements to inspire and drive adoption and utilization of virtual health and telehealth solutions.
Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work independently with strong work ethic, committed to meeting the goals of the team and company in a fast-changing industry and business environment
