ABOUT THE POSITION

As a UX Designer at Continued, you’ll be responsible for translating research and insights into delightful user experiences. You’ll work closely with other designers, product managers, stakeholders, and developers to help shape the future of our products. On a typical day, you’ll spend time designing in Figma, validating your designs in Maze, organizing your work in Jira, attending Agile ceremonies via Zoom, and carrying on plenty of chats in Slack.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design usable, accessible, data-driven, and engaging user experiences for mobile and web
  • Conduct interviews with key stakeholders to create user stories, personas, and storyboards
  • Deliver design work, including discovery artifacts, sketches and rough prototypes, wireframes, UX flows, and high fidelity prototypes
  • Respect and contribute to the evolving design system
  • Seek to understand user behavior and motivations using qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Engage in critiques as well as share new learnings and case studies
  • Challenge existing processes with new ways for the team to be more effective

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years of relevant design experience required – looking for intermediate level of experience rather than junior (1-3 yrs) or senior (7+ yrs)
  • A Bachelor’s is required, but a degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • An online portfolio demonstrating experience creating user-centric design solutions (sketch, storyboard, final designs to live experiences)
  • Extensive experience using Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, or similar tools, but Figma is highly preferred.

What we’ll accomplish together:

  • Lead the design of the most innovative and best-in-class Web3 experiences as measured by key results co-developed with the executive team; Retention & Engagement, Acquisition & Conversion, LTV, Increased total market value, etc.
  • Establish an overall template and approach to collectibles and gamification that can be applied across products of varying maturity.
  • Develop a unified approach to analytics, data-driven decision making and management of the economic health of live NFT products.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a highly analytical and mission-driven Sr. Lead Data Analyst to join the Analytics team at NOCD. Our team aids decision-making by providing the right data to stakeholders and using it to identify solutions. We are a highly collaborative team working with leaders across the company, so the Sr. Lead Data Analyst should expect to gain experience and exposure with all teams at NOCD. This includes providing advanced analytical support to Finance, Network Operations, Clinical, and Member Services. This role will take the lead in managing and enhancing the clinical measurement platform. The platform captures the clinical progress of all members, quantifying the reduction of symptoms, improvements in quality of life, and measuring the efficiency of our clinical protocol. This role will also support clinical research, clinical publication, and the development of predictive analytics that improve care delivery and member adherence to the clinical protocol.

Role Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and maintain analytic models and reporting structures that are used to evaluate and improve clinical healthcare outcomes and operational efficiency
  • Serve as a data/analytics mentor to internal business departments to increase the analytics acumen of the organization
  • Meet with NOCD’s health plan partners to share the clinical outcomes and utilization data
  • Work on big pillar strategy and planning projects, including goal setting and tracking, process optimization, and data analytics reporting
  • Uncover areas within the business to drive process improvements that enhance growth and provide clarity toward execution

Qualifications:

  • 4 – 8 years of experience in consulting, business operations, or product operations in tech, healthcare, or high-growth startups
  • Strong data modeling skills with experience implementing enhancements in a data warehouse
  • 3+ years experience in Healthcare (with providers, health plans, or as a vendor)
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, information management, public health, statistics, or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent data and analytical skills (fluent in SQL and Excel/Google Sheets)
  • Exceptional data presentation skills (ability to develop presentation and present)
  • Strong cross-functional project management skills (experience working with finance and software teams preferred)

They are language activists, software engineers, researchers and artists and they speak more than 100 global languages. MCV is part of a wider effort within Mozilla to mitigate bias in Artificial Intelligence by building open tools and innovative, practical resources. The Common Voice datasets have been downloaded hundreds of thousands of times by technologists around the world in all kinds of organizations.

We are supported through multi-sector investments from government, foundations and technology companies.

About this role

We are looking for an exceptional partnership builder to support the Common Voice team. Your role will be to identify partners from across the ecosystem, with a particular focus on technology organizations of all scales. You will work closely with the Product Lead and Technology Community Manager to map the speech AI ecosystem, and build relationships with high potential partners. Your work will be guided by our ethos of movement building, and you will be accountable for significant funding goals – targeting at least $1.5 million to be spent on the platform over 3 years – alongside understanding our particular governance needs as an open-source community project.

You will initially be engaged for 12 months, at 2.5 days per week, with the possibility of extension and/or expansion subject to performance review & organizational priorities.

You will

  • Build a pipeline of partners for the project, with a particular focus on supporting data consumers to invest back into the project (especially: for profit technology organizations, research entities with substantial grants etc)
  • Engage internally with collaborators around the organization, ensuring there is alignment and clarity
  • Engage with the Product Manager around any MCV platform needs to support efforts – for example changes to partnership pages, or tapping into Donate stacks through the Foundation microsite
  • Deepen partnerships with said organizations and guide them through to fruition
  • Identify other aligned funding opportunities, for example tenders and CFPs
  • Spot opportunities beyond financial investment for collaboration and ecosystem building (for example, events, training, mobilisation, competitions or grant-making)
  • Structure insights for the Product Lead to deeply understand enterprise partner needs, in order to shape platform capabilities and the wider project roadmap
  • Work with the Technology Community Manager to identify new data partners, and raise our profile with them
  • Deeply listen to, and grapple with, the governance and community issues entailed by particular engagements – we are a community-first project
  • Represent MCV in spaces of interest, including conferences, networks and events

You must

  • Be tenacious, self-motivated and difficult to daunt – you will be the first person doing this job
  • Have the confidence and credibility to represent and advocate for MCV with senior external collaborators and high impact partners
  • Have fantastic communication and interpersonal skills – easily adapting to very different cultures and processes
  • Be ferociously organized, with great attention to detail – ensuring a great exploration and on-boarding experience for partners
  • Be credible with technologists and technical partners who want to talk in detail about MCV’s platform and dataset

We target the 75th percentile of market pay as a salary band midpoint for all levels, with 10% either side of the midpoint to create a salary range.

  • Germany: 38,987 – 47,650 (mid-point: 43,319)
  • UK: 23,442 – 28,651 (mid-point: 26,047)
  • Canada: $44,833 – $54,796 (mid-point: $49,815)
  • US: $42,154 – $51,522 (mid-point: $46,838)

Depending on the successful candidate’s location, we may also add in a geographic differential to this base salary that accounts for local job market weighting. This differential is applied to the above ranges. Below are some of the common cities in which we hire staff along with representative examples of salary ranges, mid-point, and the geographical differential applied:
