We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Proof of Concept (POC) Project Manager with experience in SaaS, restaurant operations, and accounting to lead the development and implementation of POC projects. The POC Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the POC process pre and post-sale, including defining project scope, setting project timelines, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and tracking project progress.

How you’ll add value:

  • Define project scope and objectives, including identifying key stakeholders and determining resource requirements
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines and budgets
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget
  • Manage project risks and issues, implementing contingency plans as needed
  • Track project progress and report regularly to stakeholders
  • Facilitate decision-making processes and provide guidance to team members
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Leverage experience with SaaS, restaurant operations, and accounting to inform project decision-making and drive successful outcomes
  • Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant experience (e.g. project management, business administration)
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on POC projects
  • Understanding of SaaS, restaurant operations, and accounting concepts and practices a plus
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Monday or Asana
  • Experience with agile project management methodologies a plus

About Your Role:

As a Content Update Editor for Liquor.com, you will review and revise existing articles in order to elevate user experience, according to specific project instructions and brand guidelines. We are looking for an editor who can commit to 20 hours a week. This is a contract role, with a rate of pay of $20-$25 an hour.

About Your Contributions:

  • You will research and perform revisions or updates to content as needed according to specific project instructions and brand guidelines.
  • In some cases, you will use your editorial instinct to independently assess what work is necessary on a piece of content before performing an update.
  • You will fact check and copy edit on top of any larger revisions and updates.
  • For some projects, you will source designer photos for article updates that are consistent with Liquor.com’s style and brand voice.

The Commerce News and Deals team at Dotdash Meredith is looking for a smart, sharp writer to cover timely, food-related shopping content, including sale roundups, celebrity-approved items, single product reviews, and customer-loved pieces. We need someone who understands online shopping, affiliate content, and the voices of our food brands, including Food & Wine, Allrecipes, Spruce Eats, and more.

They will pitch and write multiple stories per week from an editorial point of view, telling readers about the products chefs and home cooks use (and similar styles) and amazing deals they’ve found on the things our readers love most. Most importantly, they’ll use affiliate links in these stories so that customers can purchase those products. The right candidates will be knowledgeable about shopping online, parsing data to make informed pitch decisions, and search keyword-driven content.

This is a 40-hour/week contract position with a rate of pay of $25-35 per hour. The right candidate will have the option to continually extend their contract and may have the opportunity to join the team full-time. Writers must be based in the U.S. and be comfortable working remotely.

About the Role:

  • Write at two shopping stories per day, moving quickly to keep up with the pace of news and making timely decisions that keep the needs of the team moving forward.
  • Craft creative and thoughtful pitches related to timely topics, food news, sale events, and more.
  • Build partnerships and work collaboratively with writers and editors on this team and others to meet shared objectives.
  • Reach out to high-quality experts to provide background information and quotes as needed.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead user-centric products redefining what’s possible in travel
  • Lead and create Lonely Planet’s trip planning and itineraries strategy (12 months+)
  • Collaborate with design, tech and product stakeholders to build and execute the long-term roadmap
  • Create monetization strategy for new trip planning and itineraries products and meet revenue targets
  • Prioritize features and new initiatives that solve user pain points with their travel planning process while meeting key business objectives
  • Determine use cases and requirements for user segmentation
  • Collaborate with UX Team to organize usability tests and A/B Testing
  • Define detailed requirements and user stories; work with design and engineering to determine feasibility and tradeoffs.
  • Define key KPIs to measure the product, audience and business success of the features your team creates
  • Manage and develop product and customer experience analyst(s)

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of product management experience and a portfolio of work that backs it up
  • A true growth-stage product owner with an entrepreneurial spirit that is flexible, experimental, and resourceful
  • Ability to see beyond the current landscape and anticipate innovation to unlock future opportunities. Ability to communicate the vision to gain buy-in and resources to capitalize on those opportunities

Compensation
