We are looking to bring on a newly created role of CTO to lead on building a peer networking platform and related digital online learning platform to expand our reach and drive new revenue streams. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Chief Technology Officer is GreenBiz’s top technology leader, responsible for developing and executing our technology strategy and operations, and bringing tech insights to help shape the business direction. In this role, you will have the chance to leverage your technical know-how and business acumen to create and lead out platform development for digital media products, recommend internal systems and new processes across the organization and shape the product vision and roadmap for the company.
You will lead a team of technology professionals while working closely with internal and external stakeholders to build best-in-class digital platforms and products. You have a natural sense of curiosity, comfort with ambiguity, and a commitment to using data, analytics and user feedback to constantly iterate and improve our product offerings and processes. You put people first, value and seek out diversity, and are a strong collaborator. Further, you have the ability to translate strategy into action and the ability to communicate complex technology issues in an easily digestible way.
Job Responsibilities include:
Strategy and Vision (70%)
- Create the vision, strategy, timelines and project management for the development and deployment of all technology platforms, products and services, working closely with the product team, market leads and all key stakeholders to ensure superior results that align with business goals
- Take the long and short view of both business and tech priorities to ensure there is a clear direction and prioritization for the team
- Participate as key stakeholder and technology lead on new product and platform development and evolution of existing products, including
- Online learning and peer networking platforms
- Customer data platform (CDP)
- Event websites
- Newsletters
- Clearly articulate the organization’s technical vision and roadmap to key stakeholders, the executive team and across the company. Present goals, wins, and progress updates regularly
- Lead the development and management of all customer-facing websites, ensuring superior user experience
People Management (20%)
- Manage budget and resource allocation
- Create and lead the tech organization, including internal team members, external development resources and third-party providers
- Attract, develop, and retain a high performing and diverse team to meet the current and evolving needs of the business through effective hiring, training and coaching (e.g. performing 1:1s, performance reviews, code reviews as needed and career coaching)
- Champion a data-driven team culture that strives for innovation, excellence, agility and inclusion
- Responsible for vendor strategy and selection
Internal Tools Management (10%)
- Stay current on emerging technologies and industry best practices to consistently evaluate and implement new approaches, technologies, systems and infrastructure
- In collaboration with the IT Manager, oversee internal IT systems and infrastructure and provide training to empower users and support the growth of the business
- Manage and support teams in effectively using third-party software
Requirements
- 15+ years of strategic technology experience with at least 5 years in senior or similar-level capacity at high-growth organizations

Position Summary:
The Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer will be the technical subject matter expert in using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (i.e. ExactTarget) to implement and execute the B2C Email, Mobile Push, Mobile SMS marketing strategies and campaigns for the League’s Member Marketing teams. This role would be part of the League Salesforce Platform Team.
Based on the feature roadmap and by collaborating with League’s Member Marketing organization, League product managers and engineering teams, the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer will perform hands-on technical development for feature enhancements and projects related for League’s Salesforce Marketing Cloud using SQL, AMPscript, JavaScript, Server-side JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SOAP/REST APIs, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, Journey Builder etc as necessary.
In this role you will:
- Design, build and execute data driven marketing automation journeys to communicate with League members via periodic emails, mobile push notifications SMS etc.)
- Implement complex code (e.g. dynamic email content, AMPScript, SSJS) and advanced automation and journey logic based on the feature / project requirements
- Responsible for iteratively improving our League’s Marketing Cloud data model and architecture, including our technical documentation and internal processes
- Own email subscriber audience list management and data hygiene within SFMC;
- Participate in QA and reporting on email performance and customer data;
- Participate in front-end development building Cloud Pages utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AMPScript
- Administer and monitor the performance of League’s Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Desired Outcomes:
- By collaborating with the necessary internal and external stakeholders, implement and deliver marketing campaigns for the League Member Marketing teams in a timely manner
- Quickly troubleshoot and resolve League Salesforce Marketing Cloud production issues to comply with the established internal and external Service Level Agreements
Minimal Qualifications:
- Solid hands-on experience (3+ years) with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Studio, Mobile Push, AMP Script, SSJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SFMC API, SQL, Data Extensions, Data Views, Automations, Journey Builder, Preference Center, Audience Management and
- Segmentation, Tracking and Reporting
- Deep understanding, experience and ability to troubleshoot and resolve Mobile SDK, SFMC API or Automation triggered Email / Mobile Push Notifications issues
- Experience building, deploying, and testing responsive CRM email, push notifications marketing campaigns;
- Ability to interpret performance data and insights to make iterative optimizations to campaigns and tactics;
- Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud / Service Cloud is a plus
- Experience coaching junior developers and training non-technical partners in SFMC;
- Experience using Git or other version control software

Compensation Range

Job Summary
The Digital Marketing Project Manager is a member of the Marketing team within the American Cancer Society Digital Marketing Department. The project manager is responsible for performing tasks and managing tasks associated with tactical, operational, and strategic projects for Digital Marketing. Will work closely with the Director of Digital Projects – Portfolio management to identify, plan, organize, and drive activities related to projects. Major Responsibilities
- Facilitate and coordinate the work of multiple projects engaged in the establishment.
