The Company

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to support the rapid growth as we scale into the enterprise space.

We have built our foundations within education, selling our product to education providers, and are now in the process of expanding into the B2B market, selling our product to companies to better help their employees. We are looking for some to drive forward our marketing and elevate the Cognassist brand.

Role Responsibilities

  • Strategy and execution – develop, own and lead the marketing strategies for the business working alongside our VP Growth.
  • Campaign management – identify and develop the right campaigns, with supporting strategies, tactics and metrics to understand success/ failure trigger points.
  • Messaging – ensure consistent and effective messaging throughout client life-cycle, including marketing, sales and success
  • Outcome reporting – continuously develop and improve performance metrics and the reporting of these to evidence success or failure, learn and iterate
  • Leadership – managing and developing a high performance team to deliver on your plans, within timescale and budget

Required Skills & Experience

  • SaaS – prior experience marketing a SaaS solution, ideally in B2B environment
  • Team management – demonstrable experience leading, developing and recruiting a small team
  • WordPress and Salesforce – clear evidence of being able successfully utilise and manage
  • 2+ years in a Marketing Manager role within a B2B SaaS company

A master of the written word, the Marketing Narrative Lead owns the brand voice and tone of Sweat Economy’s products and brands. In this copy-focused role, it is up to the Marketing Narrative Lead to ensure that all written communication is strategically set up to succeed, with communications being released in the most effective way possible to each segment of users, heavily leaning in on what appeals to each group most.

The Marketing Narrative Lead will plug into all Marketing & Product verticals to ensure a company-wide strategic approach to copy, embedding themselves in cross-functional teams which will enable them to become experts in each product and project.

As the custodian of the brand voice and tone, the Marketing Narrative Lead takes ownership of not only building out definitive personality and style guides for each vertical, but also articulating the specifics of these through workshops and playbooks, empowering all within the company to be able to write effectively on-brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Company-wide ownership of all externally-facing copy, including social media, blogs, website, advertising, press releases and in-product copy
  • Responsible for writing, reviewing, and editing all copy as required by the company, including both short-form and long-form
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the company, acting as the brand voice custodian
  • Oversee and direct copy projects that may be written by others, both internal & external
  • Relish the responsibility of being the custodian of brand voice and tone, acting with authority to ensure your strategy is followed
  • Build and maintain style guides and terminology guides for consistent external comms
  • Work with leadership team on internal messaging and company-wide initiatives (such as mission & values)
  • Forge strong internal relationships with all relevant stakeholders to ensure you are constantly looped in on all relevant conversations

Desirable

  • Storytelling: Beyond business-focussed copy, you have storytelling experience writing fiction and crafting narratives
  • Stakeholder Management: You have experience building and managing relationships in a professional setting.
  • Web3 Native: You’re equally comfortable crafting content aimed at core crypto users as you are mainstream consumers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of professional writing experience ideally including a high profile web3 consumer project with its own token
  • Good knowledge of the crypto/ web 3 environment, latest technological developments, key players, protocols and best practices in web 3 marketing
  • Must be a self-starter, creative thinker, and quick learner that requires very little oversight
  • Must be a pleasure to work with, flexible, and easy-going
  • Self-motivated and capable of setting goals and seeing projects through to completion
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and can adapt quickly to shifting priorities

About the role:
The Digital Marketing Specialist supports global integrated digital marketing programs to align with the overall marketing and communications goals of the division and its franchises. The successful candidate will act as the digital subject matter expert, consulting with the Digital Marketing Manager, and other stakeholders, to ensure all integrated marketing communications programs are executed appropriately and provide a seamless end-to-end customer experience. This role will focus on campaigns targeting Health Care Professionals. Your responsibilities include:

  • Aid in the development of a customer-centric digital strategy and influence a user-first mindset across integrated marketing communications.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our customers and their attitudes and behaviors across platforms, channels, and activities, to provide segmentation and personalization to the integrated marketing communications plans.
  • Partner with Digital Marketing Manager to develop comprehensive digital plans for awareness and lead generation campaigns (SEO & SEM, digital advertising, email, social media, landing pages, etc.) with measurable objectives.
  • Partner with analytics resources and the sales operations team the to show value of campaigns and provide a regular cadence of performance reports.
  • Actively monitor and optimize campaigns within respective platforms (Google Campaign Manager 360 and Google Ads).
  • Identify and communicate trends and opportunities through a working knowledge of analytics, SEO, lead generation, 3rd party research, competitive analysis, digital trends, and past campaign data.
  • Build cross-functional relationships with Marketing, Digital Marketing Managers, Corporate Sales, Analytics, UX/Design, MarTech, IT and others as needed to ensure an endless end-to-end customer experience.
  • Influence various functions and levels within the organization with strong interpersonal communication skills, written and presentation skills.
  • Manage ongoing media vendor relationships
  • Oversee multiple programs at once and effectively prioritize work for both digital strategy and implementation
  • Play a thought-leader role by sharing knowledge and best practices with both internal and external teams.
  • Travel depends on location of candidate. If remote, this could be up to 4 times a year depending on projects.

Required qualifications:

  • 4+ years of overall marketing, communications, and/or digital experience, with 2 years driving customer-centric integrated marketing plans in a B2C or B2B environment.
  • Candidate must have strong digital marketing acumen and a proven record of developing and selling impactful marketing communication programs that drive business results. Candidate must also have extensive experience in developing and implementing digital communications programs driving customers through a decision journey.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in building and implementing a new digital plan in the medical device, biopharma, healthcare, or another regulated field

BDG is seeking a remote part-time Affiliate Parent Writer to join our growing BDG Commerce and Affiliate Marketing team. As an affiliate shopping writer, you will research and write shopping guides and product roundups, as well as revise existing articles for voice, accuracy, and SEO best practices. The role will focus on the parenting space, although coverage will extend to home, health, fashion, and tech products so the candidate should be interested in a wide range of topics.

The Commerce team is independent of Editorial, and Commerce articles are written to generate revenue from sales of products featured in the articles. The success of a BDG affiliate article is measured based on the affiliate revenue it earns. This means the ideal candidate is not only a strong writer, but can also effectively communicate what makes a product worth purchasing.

The ideal candidate should have three or more years of experience writing, ideally with a Commerce and SEO background. Knowledge of parenting topics is a must. Think: You’ve previously written on the best baby monitors for twins, told readers about your favorite eczema cream for baby, or rounded up all the hottest toys for toddlers.

Most importantly, candidates should be knowledgeable and passionate about researching products (especially those found on Amazon), as well as up-to-date on the latest parenting trends. They should have an eye for the type of products Scary Mommy, Romper, and Fatherly readers want to buy and are eager to spend time searching through (sometimes hundreds!) of items.

Candidates must be able to work remotely 12 hours a week.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or a related subject desired and a minimum 3 years experience as a communications professional in the nonprofit sector; minimum of 5 years of experience without a degree.

3.Communications
