Objectives of this role:

Fueled by the power for discovery, the Copy Supervisor is responsible for contributing to and executing creative strategy, brainstorming ideas, developing concepts and producing brand specific messaging for digital and print deliverables on assigned brands while managing and mentoring junior members of the copy team.

Position Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of assigned brands, therapeutic categories, and overall marketplaces as well as pharmaceutical marketing restrictions/requirements
  • Possess solid understanding of the science of assigned brand(s)
  • Contribute to brand strategy and big conceptual ideas
  • Actively participate in strategic and promotional planning for assigned brands, market research, and work plan development and be able to present ideas and creative solutions comfortably.
  • Collaborate with art director/designer counterparts to develop creative strategies and dynamic, ownable concepts
  • Develop digital content for websites, marketing emails, and various social media platforms
  • Collaborate with art, digital strategy, and development to establish content hierarchy, style elements, and optimal UX
  • Incorporate predefined SEO keyword strategies into website manuscripts
  • Oversee tone, style, structure and voice of all content, based on brand strategy, client expectation and creative brief
  • Partner with Creative, Account, Digital Strategy, and Client teams to ensure copy that accomplishes marketing objectives
  • Effectively develop promotional copy for assigned product(s)
  • Maintain a library of current reference materials to ensure accuracy of all claims made
  • Review and format copy according to AMA/client/agency style
  • Demonstrate mastery of manuscript submission process, including referencing/annotating and regulatory details of assigned product(s) (may vary from account to account).
  • Leverage effective presentation skills to persuade internal and external clients to execute work that exceeds basic requirements of the brief
  • Develop and maintain the creative direction/vision of assigned brand(s)
  • Lead conceptual development from beginning to end
  • Assist with distribution and management of brand projects, adhering to timelines and estimates.
  • Able to multitask and oversee the quality of multiple tactical initiatives
  • Must be open to travel as needed for client engagements

Talent & Knack

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in communications, science, marketing, or related field of study
  • At least 5 years of marketing copywriting experience, including at least 3 years of pharmaceutical, medical, and device writing experience in an advertising or digital agency
  • Experience writing for video, broadcast, and/or trade shows helpful
  • Strong understanding data presentation and extrapolate messages from articles and research papers
  • Ability to think conceptually while writing traditional advertising programs or innovative interactive initiatives
  • Think in abstract terms; can make connections between unrelated notions; can formulate innovative ideas where others cannot; seen as original and value-added in brainstorming sessions

About the role

  • Lead and execute on the end-to-end management of lifecycle marketing GTM programs, including creation, deployment, testing, optimization, analysis and reporting
  • Partner across an Integrated marketing group to drive multi-channel (heavy focus on email) lifecycle outreach strategies for product/feature engagement, event attendance – all of which empower our partners to help our customers find and rent homes

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • You have 5+ years of experience leading lifecycle, email, CRM and/or Engagement Marketing programs
  • Experience building with HTML email templates including troubleshooting and editing code.
  • You have considerable experience with a B2B marketing automation platform (Ex: Salesforce Pardot, Eloqua, Simon Data, or Marketo)
  • You have demonstrable experience deriving and using customer insights and data to understand the customer base (Tableau, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and change, and have experience in building programs quickly from the bottom up
  • You have a successful track record of developing and executing channel strategies, including measuring and delivering on performance targets

This role is part of the Creator Workflows and Platform Expert Services team and will be a functional and technical expert on ServiceNow’s front-end technologies. For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $111,960 – $195,840, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. In this role, you will:

  • Help Customers with a wide range of general inquiries on billing issues and questions
  • Handle customer questions about contract renewals and cancellations
  • Solve customer issues and escalations about Samsara products and services
  • Experience in multi channel servicing including excellent phone skills, good writing skills for Web, email and channel requests
  • Ability to prioritize work queue and backlog in addition to incoming customer requests
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the service cycle from initial request to final close out of the transaction.
