Smartsheet is looking for an experienced Senior Manager of Systems Integration Development to help lead a team to deliver forward-thinking, high quality applications and integrations that support Smartsheet’s business functions. The candidate should be a technical leader and have a strong ability to transform, design and manage execution of integrations that power the enterprise while also playing a key role in the leadership and mentorship of a team of developers. This role reports to the Director of Enterprise Systems Development.

You Will:

  • Lead a team of developers in the ideation and technical development of enterprise solutions to automate and enhance business processes, providing functional and technical leadership
  • Oversee the development of team’s day-to-day operational support, on-call rotation and SLA compliance, sprint and project planning and execution, and provide strategic recommendations
  • Recruit, hire, onboard and train/mentor your team. Provide development goals, promotion guidance and motivation
  • Build and maintain the integration platform connecting enterprise applications and data platforms. Lead integration solutions and design using SaaS, PaaS and cloud integration technologies
  • Build technical development and modernization roadmaps across a 12 to 18 month period and drive execution against these
  • Ensure that practices followed by the team focuses on quality, maintainability, operational excellence and scalability. Manage development team best practices such as technology standards, documentation, frameworks, CI/CD
  • Work with other technical leaders, architects, QA, and product owners across the organization on technical specifications and solution designs
  • Manage developer change management process, reviewing changes and signing off on any tests prior to management sign off and production release. Oversee and ensure compliance with internal audits and integrations that are in-scope for SOX compliance

You Have:

  • 8+ Years of professional full time experience as a software engineer
  • 5+ Years of engineering management experience
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience in building Enterprise Software & Integrations across multiple functional areas
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, PHP, Python
  • Experience with Agile System Development Methodologies, SDLC, and Waterfall
  • Experience with building solutions within AWS and/or Boomi
  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation a plus
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Netsuite, Workday, Coupa a plus
  • Experience in middleware, data management
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering best Agile practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, deployment, rollback, testing, operations, and monitoring

Smartsheet provides a competitive range of compensation for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. Your Professional Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience in marketing or a related field (tech or SaaS companies preferred)
  • Experience with various marketing tech stack tools such as marketing automation tools (Marketo, Pardot, Hubspot), Salesforce, GoToWebinar, Unbounce, etc.
  • Familiarity with marketing program best practices and KPIs (email delivery, webinar registrations, conversion reporting, etc.)
