An overview of this role

We’re looking for an experienced Sr. Program Manager to manage and contribute to cross functional intiatvies lead by the Product division at GitLab. This the first hire for this role at GitLab so a great opportunity to help build out a new function zero to one .

This individual will be responsible for leading key cross functional initiatives across the company focused primarily on the Product Division. Work will span from small self-lead projects to managing larger initiatives that span contributions from nearly every department within GitLab.

You’ll contribute directly to the priorities of the Product Division and collaborate closely with the Product Leadership team.

  • Independently run small projects overseeing end to end delivery ensuring efficency and collaboration of impacted stakeholders
    Program Manage larger cross functional intiaitves (strategically run out of the Product Division)
  • Directly manage and improve the Product Division Handbook with influence from Product Leadership
  • Develop process to improve efficiency across the division

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Growth Marketing Associate who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company’s growth and success through your diverse skill set and ability to work both cross-functionally and independently.

In this role you will:

  • Manage and maintain organic social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) by curating and creating engaging content, scheduling posts, and monitoring performance metrics.
  • Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner on our social media platforms, serving as a front-line community manager.
  • Write and help edit persuasive and high-quality copy for marketing collateral, website content, blog posts, press releases, and other communication materials.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments (including sales and product) to ensure alignment in marketing initiatives.
  • Work with Growth Lead to write, develop, and test emails for prospect nurture sequences.

We’re ideally seeking:

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, interacting with a product-led funnel or with a D2C brand.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 1-3 years experience in social media community management.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and software, including CRM systems, and content management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills with respect to project management.
  • Experience with automation platforms like HubSpot or Sprout a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary Range:$70,000 – $72,000

Our Innovation Team is focused on helping make entrepreneurship and content creation easy with the addition of Dropdeck. Dropdeck allows creators to seamlessly format their content simply by typing and utilizing our dynamic templates and designs.

SamCart’s Innovation Team is looking for a talented Product Marketer to market our Dropdeck platform. In this role you will be responsible for building a comprehensive strategy to drive product adoption, WAU and MAU in the Dropdeck platform.

We are looking for someone who has a strong background and understanding of lifecycle marketing across a number of channels; we’re talking email, in-app, thought leadership, etc. We need someone who is passionate about reaching our customers in every possible way and someone who obsesses over customer experience. We value taking the time to understand use cases and build strong customer journey’s that lead to success using the platform and need someone who is driven by this passion.

This role will be cross-functional, working closely with the Growth Marketing, Product, and Support teams.

Responsibilities

Strategy and Messaging

  • Manage and execute, launches of new features and products into the market, including timing, elements of launch, communications plans and more
  • Be the central point of contact and liaison between Product and Marketing to communicate and distill product updates and new features
  • Build and maintain a detailed understanding of our competitors, and regularly conduct market intelligence
  • Craft compelling product messaging that embodies key product attributes including value prop, positioning, and differentiation for our target customer segments (personas)
  • Help manage beta testing of new features with the product team, working with key customers and continuously gathering feedback from customers to drive feature adoption
  • Communicate the value prop of product features and details of marketing launch plans to internal teams.
  • Manage creation of product marketing collateral as needed for internal and external purposes

Technical Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and maintain SOPs for testing Dropdeck before marketing launches and for other product testing needs.
  • Manage our technical needs in Marketing, including but not limited to being the Marketing point-of-contact for product issues with Support and Product teams, helping with marketing tests we conduct in-app, and more

Qualifications

3-5+ years of experience and proven success in Product Marketing, ideally at a SaaS company

  • Strong experience managing and using software platforms
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Product and Marketing teams
  • A natural communicator who can build consensus and ensure that all stakeholders are on the same page
  • Experience successfully launching a feature or new product, ideally at a SaaS company
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Solid writing skills
  • Ability to shift between strategy and technical needs
  • Think outside of the box to come up with new and creative ways to position new and existing product features

  • Experience using project management tools like Notion, ClickUp, Asana, etc.

Requirements
