Position Summary
Candidate will have a basic understanding of coding languages, development frameworks, technical stack of existing platform. Working alongside other engineers, product and design teams to consistently deliver new features. They will help to translate user story requirements into sound, creative designs that effectively weigh business and technical tradeoffs. They will also work to refactor existing code to bring greater stability and scalability for our application.
The ideal candidate can expect to:
- Learn the current development stack and cloud environment
- Grow technical knowledge base in coding and testing best practices
- Learn about various business/product areas
- Help support and troubleshoot our application in production and assist with fixing software defects
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of professional experience with modern web frameworks, at least some of which is in ReactJS and Redux
- Proficient in Javascript, HTML, CSS
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of CI/CD systems
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup like environment
- Open to coaching and seeks opportunities to continually learn and improve
Education
Associates or equivalent experience
